Characters: Sam Wilson, Fem!Reader (Y/N/she/her) - no ethnicity described, Bucky Barnes.
Pairing: Sam Wilson x Fem!Reader.
A/N: I was stuck on my last square and put a post out to ask for ideas/requests. @manawhaat reached out to me and gave me this gem of an idea - I just saw your any fandom goes bingo... for adventure all I'm seeing is kidnapping Sam and Bucky for an adventure and taking them to disneyland/world and bucky being all grumpy but by the end he loves it and like the cast members who play princesses are trying to flirt with sam and he's all charming with them and then like bucky trying to fight gaston lol - I hope I did it justice, sweetie.
Betas: @manawhaat was kind enough to give it a once over // @wonder-cole did too, thank you so much. // all mistakes are my own.
Dividers: @firefly-graphics
Enough was enough, there had been far too much work and not nearly enough play. But Y/N would rectify that immediately.
Okay, five-am was early, especially on their first day off in God knows how long, but it’d be worth all the groaning and possible death glares.
Bucky was an early riser; it wouldn’t be a problem getting him out of bed. She knocked on his bedroom door and called his name so as not to startle him. It wasn’t a good idea to scare an assassin, a lesson she’d learned the hard way and had the scar to remind her.
His eyes were open but she could tell she’d woken him. “Morning Sunshine,” she smiled and placed the fresh cup of coffee with a splash of vanilla on his nightstand.
“Where’s the fire?” he asked with a heavy sigh.
Okay, bad news. You're going to have to change your name to princessdelightful after this (or perhaps queendelightful? I'm sure that's what Sam would say 😉)
Darling, this is so cute! I love imagining the boys hanging out a Disney (even if Bucky is committed to being a grump). And I love that even though the reader doesn't think same reciprocates her feelings, it's never played out like she somehow thinks she unworthy, and she always comes across as confident and self possessed. I love a reader who doesn't question her worth, even if she feels unlucky in love. That's for this adorable read!
