The milkshake is heavenly, salted caramel and banana, perfect consistency, thick but not too thick that it gets stuck in the straw. Mickey sits across from you, devouring his own milkshake, peanut butter and chocolate, watching you the whole time.
BAM! Brain freeze.
"Ow, ow, ow," you groan, heel of your palm pressed to your forehead, "brain freeze!"
Fanboy chuckles as he slides out of his side of the booth to slip in next to you. "I know a cure for that," he whispers, a boyish grin making his eyes light up. Gently he pulls your hand away and kisses the spot where it had been, then lower on the bridge of your nose. By the time he presses his lips to yours, your entire body is on fire, melting the brain freeze and your senses.
