Ally was familiar with nice things, expensive clothes, wine that cost more than the clothes, fancy cuisine, and being treated like royalty. However, her family's riches and influence paled in comparison to Bruce Wayne’s. The lie she fed of working late and being too tired to meet for their third date hadn’t deterred the billionaire. Though she hadn’t expected it would, she’d been using her power on him for almost two weeks, and he was smitten; he couldn’t have said no to anything she asked of him. He’d been the one to insist she meet him in the restaurant of her hotel at nine-thirty. That fit perfectly with her plan, so ever playing the role, reluctantly, she’d accepted.
Just after eight-thirty, a hotel employee delivered a gift from Bruce to Ally’s room; a green silk gown with a thigh-high slit, the same color as her eyes, and sparkling silver Jimmy Choo stilettos. By twelve-thirty, all that remained were the heels.
