“It’s time Bobbo.”
Bob gritted his teeth. “Don’t call me that,” he demanded of Hangman.
“Ah don’t be like that,” Hangman smirked, “no one likes a sore loser. A bets a bet. You lost.”
“I didn’t lose, you took the cue from me!”
“Tomato, tomatoe,” Hangman shrugged. This wasn’t about the bet. This was about helping a friend. “I mean, if you won’t, I can always go see if the lady needs a drink.”
Bob’s fists clenched and his jaw ticked as he dared Hangman to take a step. He didn’t need help in talking to you, the bet had been a stupid one and Bob hadn’t technically agreed to it.
“What lady?” You asked, coming up behind Bob.
“You, actually,” Jake winked, perfect teeth on display behind his flirty smile. “Whadda you say, darlin’, thirsty?”
You laughed, shaking your head. “I am actually.”
Jake stepped closer, flirty smile transforming to a smug grin. “Your place or mine?”
Bob practically snarled at him, and you turned to put a gentle hand on his chest. You winked at him before turning back to Jake.
“My place,” you said, and tugged your shirt to the side, revealing the hickey’s decorating your neck and top of your breasts. “So Bob can add some more of these in places I wouldn’t show in public.”
Jake lost his smug grin but Bob found it. “I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow, Buddy.”
The look on Jake's face though had me doubling over 🤣😭
