Admin Michelle here with another SPNFanFicPond Fic Highlight!

Oh, Stacey!!! *sigh* Sam in this series is just swoon-worthy. I mean, he's always swoon-worthy, but he's so patient and passionate and loyal and passionate and steady and loving and gentle and passionate and I just wanna hug him and snuggle him and climb him like a tree! He literally cutes his way out of KIDNAPPING. Who else but Sam Fucking Winchester could be so badass and adorable all at the same time? And Brooke is so real and so good for our Sam, that I'm not even jealous about it. Go make him happy, you wonderful OFC, you!!!

In short, if you love Sam, you'll love this series. It's all the best bits of Sam: fluffy Sam, angsty Sam, and smutty Sam!!

Thank you 💜🤩🥰

This one is still near and dear to my heart 💓

Fairytale Ending

As soon as Jake exited the cab, he could hear the squeals of delight from the backyard, and it wasn’t until then he remembered Julia telling him the dance troupe was having a pre-party before the show.

He dumped his bag at the bottom of the stairs, smiling at the loud and proud declarations of a Giant slayed from the yard as he walked through to the kitchen.

Julia, in a huddle with some other parents, noticed him and gasped his name in surprise. “What are you doing here?” she asked, rushing forward to embrace him.

“Couldn’t miss the Munchkin’s recital, could I?” he explained.

He sugar-coated it as being a dutiful uncle, but beneath the sweet topping was the sourness of needing his home comforts. His sister wasn’t clueless to his pretense.

Pulling out of the embrace, she smiled sweetly at him, “Jake…” she started, but he cut her off, unable to stand the pity in her eyes.

“Where is my favorite Munchkin?” he asked, stepping toward the backdoor, freezing when he saw her.

“With your other favorite Munchkin,” Julia whispered, sliding up beside him. Now he understood her cautioning tone and wanted to turn and run before either of them spotted him. For almost two weeks, he’d wanted to speak to Ryleigh, but now she was there, crouching in front of Maddie in a make-believe sword fight, and he was terrified of doing so.

Oh, gosh!!! I loved this series so much!!!

Thank you lovely 🥰

Too Late - Part 6 - No One's In The Room Mini Series

Series Summary: Jake and Ryleigh find themselves stranded in a remote location when a mission goes sideways. Injured and dependent on his help, she gets a glimpse of the man beneath the façade of ‘The Terminator’. Once they are rescued, the bubble of their personal Vegas bursts, and Jake struggles with new emotions while Ryleigh hopes he will finally see the man she came to know when no one else is in the room.

Summary: Jake regrets the things he did and didn’t do. Is he too late to make it right?

Warnings: enemies to lovers, slow burn, fluff, jealousy, angst, Jake is an asshole.

W/C: 2.9k

Characters: Jake ‘ Hangman’ Seresin, Ryleigh ‘Rodeo’, The Dagger Squad, Javy ‘Coyote’ Machado.

Pairing: fwb - Ryleigh x Fanboy mentioned, platonic Rooster x Ryleigh.

Too Late

The Dagger team was close and did a lot of tasks together, including working out. But today, of all days, Jake wished they weren’t as close as they were. Jake, Reuben, and Javy were running on the treadmills when Bradley, Mickey, Natasha, and Bob piled into the gym.

Ryleigh had left the reunion, packed her bags, and gotten on the first plane back to Fightertown. He hadn’t seen or spoken to her in the three days since their disastrous encounter in the parking lot, and he wondered where she was hiding.

“Hey,” Reuben called, smirking and pointing toward Mickey. “Surprised you need a workout, haven’t seen you since your so-called ‘awkward as fuck’ date with Ryleigh,” he said, using full air quotes while he jogged.

Jake scowled, so now he knew where Ryleigh had been. Apparently, she’d run directly from the airport to Mickey. Perhaps it had been a knee-jerk reaction, but they’d been on an actual date, dressed up to the nines, dinner, and conversation, not just falling into bed, from what he'd been overhearing.

Jake, you ruin this and Im pushing you into a vat of electric eels 😒

That’s a very specific punishment 🤣

About Last Night - Part 5 - No One's In The Room Mini Series

Warnings: fluff, angst, Jake is an asshole.

W/C: 2.6k

Characters: Jake ‘Hangman’ Seresin, Ryleigh ‘Rodeo’, and other OCs'.

Graphics: made by me on canva.

About Last Night

Going to the airport was always bittersweet for Jake. He looked forward to seeing Maddie and his sister, Julia, but he hated the prospect of seeing his father. Add to that the apprehension of his actions the previous night; he was about ready to curl into the fetal position and never move again.

What the hell had he been thinking? It was as if something had possessed him. The urge to kiss Ryleigh had been almost preternatural. The flashback of the kiss had excitement bubbling in his gut.

He’d been by Ryleigh’s house, but it was locked up tight - no car in the driveway and no lights on. He’d dropped her a text to ask if they could talk when he returned. He was going to apologize and tell her to forget the whole thing. Perhaps blame it on being drunk - though he wasn’t - and lying that her assumption had been correct, he’d struck out, and he had just tried his luck with her. But his phone had remained silent during the forty-five-minute cab ride to the airport.

He rechecked it as he entered the terminal on the off chance he’d missed a vibration. All that greeted him as the screen lit up was his wallpaper and the reminder of his upcoming flight.

“So you’re one of those last-minute people, huh?”

Oh, boy....

That didn't go very well at all, did it? 🥺🥺

Her heart was in the right place 🤷🏼‍♀️

Personal Vegas - Part 2 - No One's In The Room Mini Series

Series Summary: Jake and Ryleigh find themselves stranded in a remote location when a mission goes sideways. Injured and dependent on his help, she gets a glimpse of the man beneath the façade of ‘The Terminator’. Once they are rescued, the bubble of their personal Vegas bursts, and Jake struggles with new emotions while Ryleigh hopes he will finally see the man she came to know when no one else is in the room.

Summary: As much as Jake would like everyone to believe he's the terminator, Ryleigh doesn't buy it. Stranded for a few days, she tries to discover who he is when no one else is in the room. Jake worries about being vulnerable and doesn’t make it easy for her.

Warnings: angst, cheating mentioned, bad family relationships.

W/C: 3.2k

Characters: Jake ‘Hangman’ Seresin, Ryleigh ‘Rodeo’.

Pairing: none for part 2.

Graphics: made by me on canva.

Personal Vegas

Jake set the table, including a jug of water and a tumbler of whiskey for himself, leaving the bottle in the middle. Dishing up the chili into bowls, he heard Ryleigh’s stomach grumble and quietly chuckled. She must have been starving for her stomach to be protesting the way it was.

When he’d reappeared from his shower, she was sprawled out on the sofa, features relaxed, a steady rise and fall to her chest as she slept. He hadn’t wanted to disturb her, but she needed to eat and move to the bed, which he assumed would be more comfortable and better for her wound in the long run.

“Ryleigh,” he whispered, gently shaking her shoulder, “wake up. Dinner’s ready.” She shot up so quickly that he had to jump back to avoid headbutting her, her gasp getting lost in the sound of the movement. “Easy, easy,” he soothed, “it’s just me.”

She looked around, eyes finally landing on his face, and she seemed to remember where she was.

“Your stomach has been talking to me for the last ten minutes,” Jake informed her, “wanna eat here or at the table?”

“Table,” she replied, voice still groggy with sleep as she rose to her feet. “Ow, fuck,” she yelped, lifting her weight off her leg, and Jake was quick to take her arm to help steady her.

“Sit down,” he suggested sternly, his arm wrapping around hers and supporting a portion of her weight.

“I can make it,” she protested stubbornly, “I forgot for a second, that’s all.”

He helped her to the table, shaking his head along the way, helping ease her into the chair and making sure she was comfortable before taking his seat across from her.

Jake waited with anticipation, watching as Ryleigh shoveled a spoonful of his Grandma’s special chili into her mouth. He wanted her to like it. He needed her to know he wasn’t the one-dimensional asshole everyone thought he was. Sure, it would be good for his ever-expanding ego, but sometimes it was exhausting to constantly be ‘on’. It was no secret he wanted to impress her, but only enough to get her into his bed, so the need for her to see him differently surprised him. He didn’t have time to put much more thought into the reason behind it before she’d finished savoring the first bite.

Im in awe - first off, Rodeo LITERALLY hit every nail on the head with her assesment. I mean, what could he say? She's right. Period.

That last part had me in stitches over the fucking spider 🤣🤣🤣🤣

That little speech was the thing that sparked this whole idea 😜

🕷️ he’s a baby really 😝

“What’s going on?” Rick asked, coming to. His mind was foggy, and his body ached from the earlier fight. The cold seeped through his thin suit pants from the concrete beneath him. He didn’t know where he was, but he did know he’d be sore tomorrow. Slowly, his eyes adjusted to the musty-smelling room, which consisted of metal shelving that held nothing much but dust, filling three walls and the door.

“Be quiet,” Rylee answered, panting for breath. Without seeing her, he knew she’d rolled her eyes closed in the way he was sure would give her an Aneurysm one day.

“Why?”

“I’m grieving.”

“Grieving what?”

“My dignity.” She sighed, and Rick felt her weight droop against his back. She hissed, and through gritted teeth, she said, “I need your help.”

“No shit!” He scoffed. She had always been so bloody dramatic, but today took the fucking cake. “What the hell was that out there? We’re supposed to be low-key. Stealth operations mean anything to you?”

“I was at the debriefing; I have some idea.”

“Apparently not.”

Her fingers brushed his hand, but she wasn’t seeking them; she was picking the lock of the cuffs that tethered them together behind their backs. “Keep talking, Flag, and maybe one day you’ll blurt out something intelligent.”

Re-read this and I kinda dig it!! So shameless reblog time.

Flowers of Fate

Summary: Serendipity, luck, coincidence – call it what you will, but Bradley is sure his parents may have had a hand in his good fortune.

Warnings/Genres/Troupes: fluff, slight angst, meet-cute.

W/C: 2.5k

Characters: Bradley ‘Rooster’ Bradshaw, OFC. Small Parts/Mentions: Carole & Nick Bradshaw (the OG relationship goals), Penny Benjamin, Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell, Dagger Squad.

Pairing: Rooster x OFC

A/N: Not sure where this one came from.

Graphics: made by me.

The sunrise accompanied Bradley’s jog around the lake like it did most mornings. He loved to get up before the sun and go jogging, not running, jogging. If he ran, he couldn’t appreciate the sound of the early bird song or how the rising sun shimmered across the lake while he did laps around the well-trampled path.

He savored the quiet, never putting music on, enjoying the peace before his day of jet engines and Hangman’s ego truly started.

Bradley’s mom had shown him the lake years before. It was where she and Goose snuck off for time alone while Mav babysat a much younger Bradley. A large oak stood at the lake’s edge, and Nick, being the romantic he was, had carved their initials and the date into it - ‘To show our love will last an eternity, like this tree.’ Carole had told him that story so many times. And his dad had been right; their love was eternal and forever immortalized by that tree.

His parents were gone, and the tree had aged, but new life sprang up every year around its base, which always made Bradley smile. It was as if their love still lived, and they were letting him know they were watching over him. He felt close to them here and often imagined them smiling down on him.

Though it was his favorite place to jog, today, he had another reason to be there. It was the date that had been carved into the bark, and he had a bouquet of purple calla lilies, his mother’s favorite, that he planned to leave at its base.

With years of growth, large branches now shaded the path, creating dappled patterns on the packed dirt below. As Bradley rounded the curve, the sturdy trunk coming into view, he saw her. Leaning against the oak, her hand covering his parents’ initials for balance while stretching her legs out behind her. His feet stalled, rooting themselves in place as he watched her roll her shoulders and neck, limbering up. Eyes closed, she twisted, stretching her back, and he was stunned by her beauty—face free of makeup, full lips, curves and edges that begged to be squeezed and hair that looked velvety smooth with skin to match—a goddess in lycra and sneakers.

OMG Stacey, this is so freaking adorable - adorably beautiful!! I truly love everything about this, from Nick and Carol's love story and how the tree becomes a symbol of their love, to the multiple meetings between Bradley and Hen. 🥰 I felt that mortification when Bradley stuck his foot in his mouth in front of "the gorgeous boyfriend"!! And about rolled off the bed laughing at:

‘Please have my babies’ seemed a little too forward, so he settled for, “Can I take you out for dinner tomorrow night?”

This is a great story and I hope everyone reads it, it just oozes lovely vibes. 😍💕

Thank you babes 🥰😍 I was little worried this was too much fluff but I kind of love it 😍

Thanks for the support as always 😘

One of the cutest fics I have ever had the pleasure of reading. A smile was plastered on my face the entire time.

Bradley is such a dork in this, but so adorable. My favorite is still his funny, rambling spiral when he tries to ask her out. 🤣♥️🤣♥️🤣

You might need to go see a dentist after reading this one, but it's worth it!

I added

To this 😂

Thank you for all the support as always lovely 😘

The sunrise accompanied Bradley’s jog around the lake like it did most mornings. He loved to get up before the sun and go jogging, not running, jogging. If he ran, he couldn’t appreciate the sound of the early bird song or how the rising sun shimmered across the lake while he did laps around the well-trampled path.
