I love when characters that had shit to do with each other at the start other than existing in the same space start to have a little background bond after one of them goes through Character Development(tm) and now they are this thing that until the show brings attention to it you don't really notice but makes you go full "ohhh" and because it's such a b-relationship compared to all the other pairings they just chill on the background.
Angel being this sort of older brother-esque thing that is scared of Nifty but at the same time it's super protective of her it's literally the best shit ever. Especially because we don't really know what she thinks of him in specific or how far her sense of awareness goes- but she clearly likes him enough to check on him after work and constantly looking up at him. Even imitating him in a way lmao.
I was rewatching the pilot and this single frame during Al's song solidified my interpretation that when Vaggie is unable to be the one person keeping this shithole afloat, Angel does (I mean ep2 made it obvious but still lmao)
They really are Charlie's angels.
