There will be talk of you going down as one of the greatest female athletes of all time. I prefer ‘one of the greatest athletes of all time’.

I just watched the Serena documentary and legit cried like a baby. Multiple times. I say this all the time, but truly-- that woman is such an amazing inspiration to other women. The greatest thing about this film is Serena allowing her most vulnerable moments to be shown on camera. Whether it's getting treated by the physio while in a load of pain, recovering from a bad flu, or feeling so low and ashamed after a loss to the point that she refuses to see or speak to any member of her family or team. You can't help but tear up when she talks about her late sister, racism, body shaming and at the end when she recites Maya Angelou. Everyone should watch this. I can’t wait to watch it again tbh.
