Since I've turned 27 recently, I've been working and re-working on my 'sona for the blog (and possibly anything else in general), and I'm fnally done with it! And here it is:

My 'sona is a Magical OL! I was aiming for a balance between the maturity and elegance of an Office Lady with the playfulness of a Magical Girl; and also because if there are salarymen dong mystic shit in anime, then there should be the OL equivalent, too!

The general concept was a weird woman who struggles with job hunting, relies on esoterics and witchcraft (specially tarot, in particular) as a coping mechanism, and is suddenly throttled into a world of real magic by becoming a problem solver who'll take on odd jobs to make some extra cash, with the power of the tarot and her beloved bat plushie by her side.

I've also have grown fond of purple lately, it's such an elegant and soothing color that reminds me of the outer space and the mystic; I guess I wouldn't mind being a purple-coded magical girl myself, after all (I'm the ultra rare non-angsty breed).

I was inspired by four series in particular:

She ended up so shiny it kind of hurts to look at, but that's part of the charm.

Funfact: Sweetheart's transformation was completely improved in. I was originally gonna have a hard cut after her saying "LOVEY DOVEY TRANSFORMATION" to her just shooting the monster through the head

But since this was the first transformation of the comic, I added this page in.

I didn't have it planned initially because I didn't know how to execute it since magical girl transformations are such big moments in the shows but are like 2 panels in mangas so I had a TIME brainstorming I'M VERY HAPPY WITH HOW IT CAME OUT--def is one of my fav pages in comic so far
