Pretty Nose (c. 1851 – after 1952) was an Arapaho war chief who participated in the Battle of the Little Bighorn.

Native women, and Native women leaders in particular, were invisible to the US government. Many colonizers forbid them from participating in treaty councils with the United States government. Even to this day, Indian women are conspicuous in their absence in US history.
