Yule Spell Ornament

I think I’m not the only for who December and the holidays are a strange and sometimes difficult time. So this year I decided to try and bring some light and warmth, joy and love into our home with this Yule spell ornament!

Disclaimer: I used whatever I had in my house which spoke to me of warmth, homeliness, joy and comfort. You don’t need all these ingredients, and some of the things that I have these associations with might not speak to you. Use whatever feels right!

Things I thought about adding: glitter (fun, joy, sparkly lights), cocoa powder (comfort, warmth), holly (winter, everlasting, yule), red apple (comfort, homeliness, yule), sugar (sweetness, love), fake snow (winter, joy, snow)

I wish you hell: Hex

This is a hex for when someone has taken advantage of your kindness and love. Best used when you’ve done nothing but wish well, and help someone and they’ve done nothing but hurt you in return.

What you’ll need:

Start by writing a list of all the ways you were hurt and used by this person. Fold that into the smallest square you can. Put this to the side.

Take the dandelion or paper flower in one hand and a lighter in the other. and say “I wished you well, you gave me hell. Now I’ll wish to you what you gave to me.” And flick the lighter, and burn the flower. If you are doing this outside on a windy day, feel the breeze and picture your intent flowing out in the breeze. 

Then take the folded list, dig a small hole and bury it.

Earth Day Spell to Help the Environment

You’ll need:

Each year, many of us observe Earth Day on April 22 by participating in community cleanups and trying to spread awareness of environmental issues.,. if this is something close to your heart, in addition to doing some hands-on work, do a bit of magical work too help out the plant. Work this spell on a sunny day.

Dig a hole large enough for the tree’s root ball and place the seedling or sapling in the hole. As you begin to fill it in, say “The earth is our mother, and she is sacred. The earth is our home, it has value. With this tree, I plant my blessings. With this tree, I plant my wishes for a safe and healthy planet.”

Continue until the hole is completely filled in, and water the tree. Place a bit of leftover soil in the cloth bag,, and keep it in your home as a reminder that you are a steward of the environment.

Super Blue Moon Sigil

This beautiful moment could not be in a more perfect time. I really want to absorb as much energy from the moon as possible so decided to create a specific sigil for it. It has the sun, the earth, and a super blue moon.
