The show’s over but what if

We got a spin-off with the past queens of Mewni (Moon and Star excluded) showing us each of their reigns and personal lives. This could be a visual narration if the content from the book of spells but with a little plot/new stuff added to complement.

This spin-off could be the perfect medium for tying up those loose ends never addressed in the original show. I image Celena’s cosmic secrets actually being a prophecy foretelling the eventual destruction of magic by Star and reign of the Butterflies. Celena might play a determining role here concerning Marco’s cheekmarks (perhaps she bestows it to him to fulfil that prophecy, idk).

They could show us Eclipsa’s past life, her relationship with Alfonse, her father; how she and Globgor first met, events leading to their crystallization, and Globby devouring Shastakan alive. Oh, and Glossarcyk being a trolling mastermind setting up the entire scenario for his suicide.

While at it perhaps throw in some Toffee’s backstory too, how he came to know of the whispering spell, realm of magic and Eclipsa’s chapter, what event/tragedy cemented his hatred for Mewmans and magic.

The main threat/conflict could be Toffee himself, or Seth and the other Septarians, or the “rogue” monsters “robbing” Mewmans of “their” lands. In addition to this I would also like to see each of the queens’ personal problems; e.g. Crescenta having insecurities, Rhina having to deal with the burden to procreate, Jushtin with mother issues, Festivia having to maintain her cheerful image despite not actually being happy 24/7, etc.

Every two 22-min episodes (totalling 44min) will be devoted to illustrate each queen’s history (from being a princess to eventually ascending the throne) and always end with said queen giving birth to a baby daughter; this would be a repeated pattern until the birth of Star after which the series will end.

Remember that Skywynne statue that appeared in “Ghost of Butterfly Castle”? I started wondering if other queens had statues made of them, so I drew some for some of my favourites.

Fun fact: Celena and Estrella have their noses in tact because they are newer queens, so there was less time for their statues to potentially be damaged.

Im going to draw all the Queens of Mewni in the next few days.

So first set: Moe the Conqueror, Soupina the Strange, Lyric the Fashionista ( I dunno Skywynne said one of the only things Lyric saved was a fashion guide).

My non-existant editing skills and I brought you this. I raised the saturation and contrast to make the Queens look… alive, but it made Star really bright.
