oh damn, okay, so literally last night i was talking with friends about how unrealistic the golden horse in tears of the kingdom is and how it feels like they were just trying to one-up the white horse in breath of the wild, and then i run across this post, do a tiny bit of looking, and—no really gold horses are actually literally a real-world thing!
I remember reading about this breed in horse books. They're indeed very very old (over 3000 years old) and come from the deserts in turkmenistan. The way their hair is built helps them with the extreme temperature changes in the desert.
They're tough, with high endurance and intelligence, friendly and sensitive.
Oh my god if 8 year old me had known about this it would have been OVER

Ace Ventura, the first one, I saw around 11 at school and it was amazing! And I thought he was too🤭

Me Too! I love how he over does it sometimes... he's always able to make it work in every scene he does it in. He's so talented and so hilarious! I would love to meet him some day.
He does and I always enjoy seeing him, I don't think I was ever disappointed. I would be afraid to meet though because I don't want to have a negative experience😭
First of all, I thought they were tiny pigs 😅 either way they're cute 😁
Second of all, Jim Carrey is a classic. But Liar Liar is still my favorite 😆 might change once I watch more, Ace Ventura pet detective was fun to binge watch though 😌

10 Simple Ways to Worship Mother Nature
These could apply to any earthly god or goddess really, so feel free to borrow any ideas that speak to you! And please tell me about how you worship your deity, I'd love to know 💚🪲
- Going for daily, mindful walks. Sometimes I'll listen to music, other times I'll just listen to the world around me.
- Wear a lot of greens and browns, as well as recycled and more sustainable fabrics (a lot of my clothes are also thrifted, and I try to avoid overconsumption)
- Decorate my space with earthy colours, posters and pieces of the earth - I have crystals, bones, pressed flowers and even rocks and twigs in my room
- Learn about nature and the world around me - I am a zoology student so my academic career is also a devotion to Mother Nature but I also learn about what animals I can see locally, I study when and where flowers bloom and how to tell when rain is coming etc
- Reconnect with my more primal side - a significant part of my work with Mother Nature is reognising and accepting that humans are animals, and we behave as such; we cannot allow ourselves to become seperate from wilderness. To me, this involves connecting with my intuition and gut feelings, recognising my emotions and desires and working with them
- Making and wearing daisy chains or flower crowns
- Creating art inspired by the world around me and myself
- Caring for animals (that includes other humans) when I can and it's safe: from helping a snail move across the path, to making sure a dying bird can rest peacefully, to giving food and money to the homeless
- Loving myself, though it isn't always easy
- Spending time outside with my hands in the dirt or streams, speaking with the trees and birds and listening to their replies

“The Food Museum at Abbot's Hall in Stowmarket, Suffolk, is home to a small number of Suffolk Punch horses - a breed considered critically endangered by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. A female foal was born on Saturday and has been named Abbots Juno to honour the last horse born at the museum in 1924. [...] Juno is just one of 12 fillies born so far this year in the country and she could potentially help produce more of the breed in the future.”
