Gar being an excellent event planner and manager needs to make a comeback stop erasing skills and traits of side characters and rebooting them

People forget that Gar was the one who handled the Titans finances and legal problems, he's more than just a pretty face.

I do really love this moment because we see Gar being thoughtful of other people and anticipating needs that other people missed (like the kids are going to be bored during the wedding and hiring the clown)

but I also really have to ask when Gar handled the Titan's legal problems b/c the only legal thing I can remember with him is interfering with Deathstroke's trial so he wouldn't go to jail (so that Gar could kill him) and then not even killing him.

We can see that this person talking was a clown. He is in front of a man in a white suit jacket. the clown says "a mr garfield logan employed me as entertainment for this afternoon." The man in the white suit jacket says "I'm sorry, but I don't have any information…." Questor thinks "Oh no -- what has garfield done now?" Questor asks the clown "Mister--?" And the clown says "Bonzo. I legally changed my name to bonzo the clown, oh, how long ago was it, fluffikins?" A blondo girl behind him says "three years now, father." Bonzo the clown says "Three years now." Questor says "um, mr bonzo." Bonzo says "No. just bonzo. or bonzo the clown. no mister."

questor says "Ummmm, yes. bonzo, I am certain your services were engaged, but I do believe…" Gar walks up, with his hands open, and says "Bonzo! I Was wondering when you'd show." Bonzo says "When you hire bonzo the clown you hire punctuality!" Questor puts a hand on Gar's shoulder, concerned, and says 'Mr Logan -- a clown at a wedding? Don't you believe --" Gar says "Questor, you don't understand. there's about fifteen really young kids coming. Bonzo's going to entertain them in the west wing so the adults can enjoy themselves." Questor smiles and says 'mmmm ahem. good thinking, sir. quite good thinking."

Didn't he? I remember a panel where Nightwing was talking about how the Titans were getting sued, and he specifically asked Gar to go over the documents cause he knew the most about it. But now I'm nervous that I imagined the whole thing.

ty for replying with where it was from. i'm guessing its from the new titans 71+ era, (like starting at the wildebeest plot) which is when they get sued IIRC.... I have that era less well memorized :P

it does sound like something showing he's contributing, but not really evidence that he handles all the legal issues. I know we see the titans handling financial issues together in another comic (donna leading a meeting, everyone but raven kicking in financially) and based on what you described (dick directing Gar to go over documents) it sounds more like a team effort in a similar way. Like Gar definitely sounds like he helped, but I don't think there's a ton of evidence that he handles all the financial and legal issues if that makes sense

These panels are hilarious, but first who’s the missing Batgirl bc I thought it went Bette, Barb, then Cass. I didn’t even know Bette was still canon, and if she is, that should still make Cass third. There was another Batgirl who worked for Babs but she was after Cass. Maybe they’re counting Stephanie as first cause she was in the Batfam first??
