New Magical Girl series on Webtoon!

I’m not a fan of AI generative art or images, but I think it would be funny if, going forward, any instance in magical girl works (or any form of speculative fiction where characters are supposed to keep their activities a secret) of someone getting a photo of the characters doing their magical activities gets immediately rejected by other civilians because they “can just tell” that the photo is AI-generated.

It’s an extra layer that keeps the masquerade in place at least.

That’s what I had thought as well

I already talked about the similarities between L. Frank Baum's Oz books and magical girls, but there's also his book Queen Zixi of Ix to consider.

The plot reads like something you'd see in an older magical girl story: a girl (Fluff) gets a magical item (a cloak) from a fairy that is able to grant wishes, which causes all kinds of magical events in the kingdom. Meanwhile Zixi, the Witch-Queen of a neighboring land (who is centuries old but due to magic retains the appearance of a teenage girl) wants the cloak because she wants its magic for her own ends (her reflection shows her as an old crone due to her real age and she doesn't want to see that).

Her and Fluff (spoilers) eventually come to see each other as friends.

Oh, and don't forget the part about how Zixi leads her army into battle wearing golden armor (and is said to have won every battle she's been in).

This is my first concept art of the main character of my series that I've been planning for a year now called, "Starlit Adventures: Rise of Miss Moondance" (Not Final Title). These designs will be used until further redesigning in the future.

The story is about a shy teenage girl named Nora, who is having problems with her self esteem and anxiety that affects her life. Despite her problems, she still remains to be kind with the heart of gold. Even though her parents help her with her issues, she still she wish to be normal like everyone else.

One night, Nora discovers an injured woman who was fallen from outer space. She is the princess from the Silvermoon Kingdom, who got badly wounded from the Intergalactic war invasion from the wrath of Medea (Main Villain), who got critically injured and fled with her minions after the princess released her final blow and fell to the earth. The princess was already very weak and won't be able to survive. So the princess's final act is to give her powers to Nora

and chose her to be the protector of the earth and the moon, once she is ready. She reassures her that she will be trained by someone, and putted her trust on her and believe that she can do it. After, that the princess rest in peace and became a garden of flowers that resembles the stars.

And so, Nora's gifted powers magically transforms her into an adult superheroine using the powers from the "Space genie", who the princess mentioned to be her mentor and trains her to protect the earth from evil invaders while also facing struggles through adolescence and learning how to be confident and become a proper woman.
