OMG, I think this is the cutest thing in my magic wand collection😭✨✨✨
The wands have already been shown in the closing but aren't going to be relevant to plot development and/or battle usages until Episode 5,eh?As the name shows they're also Tact variety in the grand scheme of the franchise.
What should wands and magic staffs look like? I'm worldbuilding a fantasy world where both of those are used alot, but im not sure how they should look. Obv not like those boring sticks we often see, but i dont have a solid concept on what they are either.
You could maybe take cues from Little Witch Academia, their wands seem to be more resistent, practical and charming, with magic batteries and everything. It can be even combined and customized with other add-ons, adapting to the user's magic style.
They come with many designs, but the most popular/frequent one is Luna Nova's Apprentice Rod:
As for staves, you could try something like The Owl House? They even got these neat little guys named Palismen! Carved out from a Palistrom tree, bonding with young witches on their teens, and can be used both to channel magic and as transportation method.
They can come in many shapes and species (even mythological beasts)! Here are some examples:
OMG New Magical Girl in Korea!!!
"꼬미마녀 라라(Little Witch Lara)"
Star Butterfly wands
Meteora’s wand!
I’m thinking it runs on bloodstone crystals. The staff is elderwood from the forest where Globgor was born, and the face is made of black and pink tourmaline with chips of moonstone and a decorative gold element. No one’s sure what the tail is made of.
