thinking abt how bojack horseman and kung fu panda have the same moral on the self while one is critical and the other is inspirational
Like in Bojack Horseman a big theme is that you can’t continuously blame shitty behavior on trauma or drugs and at some point have to take responsibility for the people you hurt and your actions (you are all the things that are wrong with you) while in kung fu panda its a message of “there’s no magic object or spell that suddenly makes you amazing or the best, that you putting the work and effort and enjoying is make you great at whatever your doing”

Current Solarpunk Products
Yes, I’ll admit, purchasing commercial products from halfway around the world is somewhat contrary to the idea of solarpunk. But if you want some ideas for solarpunk technology that exists right now, here are some things I found online to give you hope:
Solvinden String Lights (IKEA) : solar powered string lights perfect for garden, balcony, or other exterior lighting. According to Gardenista, it takes about nine to twelve hours of sunlight for them to fully charge.
Living Wall Planters (various) : wall-mounted mini-gardens, perfect for growing your own herbs indoors or just adding some green to your space. A lot of places sell these, most for a pretty hefty price, but you can also find lots of DIY instructions using various recycled materials.
Solar Phone/Battery Chargers (various) : small, portable solar panels suitable for recharging phones and other small devices. Again, a lot of places sell these, and most are pretty expensive, but there are a few versions available for cheap that might be worth considering. This one is pretty cute!
