A story on four parts....

Probably he hints a voice-over role on the Darkwing Duck and TaleSpin reboots, however the original rumors with TaleSpin mentioning that Disney wanted Point Grey Pictures, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg using The Disney Afternoon as big priority for TV as part of their overall development deal, it won't be too surprising with the sucess of Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem.

So hoping that Point Grey Pictures snagged Goof Troop & Gummi Bears reboots for development, good luck🤞☘️

Seth Rogen Provides Small Update On Darkwing Duck Reboot

During an Interview about The Boys with the A.V Club Seth Rogen was asked about that personal touch part of what you decide to pursue alongside the projects that Point Grey has achieved, Rogen talked about future stuff that he’s proud of and what it feels to reboot some old 80s properties that he loved as a kid including Darkwing Duck.

AVC: I wanted to ask about your producing, given that you have so many projects in development. How much is that personal touch part of what you decide to pursue?
SR: Yeah, we really do try. Even The Boys, which I don’t have a ton to do with on a day-to-day basis. Like the reason that show exists is because me and Evan went to a comic book store, saw the comic, picked it up, bought it, read it, loved it. And then spent the next decade trying to make it! But it was purely borne out of, like, an afternoon we spent together, you know? And so it’s all borne out of our interests. Ninja Turtles is something I loved as a kid. We have a lot more things like that that we’re working on, this Darkwing Duck show and things like that. That becomes a fun part of the challenge: How do you infuse more and more of yourself into your work? I think the more of yourself you put in, the more people like it.

Walt Disney Studios Sets One Little Spark With Figment Movie With Seth Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures And Detective Pikachu Writters.

A Disney film is in the works featuring the character Figment,a small purple dragon who serves as the mascot of Epcot’s Imagination Pavilion in Orlando.

The feature film helms from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s company Point Grey Pictures (The Boys,Invincible,American Pickle) Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit (Detective Pikachu) are set to writte the feature film.

This is Seth Rogen’s and Evan Goldberg’s second Disney project besides it’s upcoming Darkwing Duck Reboot at Disney+.

It’s unknow if the film will aim for a theatrical release or a Disney+ release however i bet it could be the latter.

Figment was created by Walt Disney Imagineers Tony Baxter and Steve Kirk, among other collaborators, in 1983, the same year it made its debut in the Epcot ride Journey Into Imagination. Figment is the embodiment of the imagining process— a figment of your imagination.Although one Disney’s more obscure characters,

Figment has a devoted fanbase that has ensured his role at the park is never diminished. Various attempts to remove the ride or decrease his presence have been met with loud protests.

Darkwing Duck Reboot Adds Original DW Creator: Tad Stones As Creative Consultant.

It’s been ages since we heard something about the upcoming Darkwing Duck Reboot, we where expecting some news about it on the 30th Anniversary of the og show on September 6 and Disney+ Day but nothing.

However since then many people have spoken about it’s status like The Ghost And Molly McGee co-creator and original Darkwing Duck writter Bob Roth mentioning “we are aware of the reboot but we are too busy on Molly McGee to work on it” and later Jim Cummings on a convention on September mentioning that “he hasn’t been called” for the reboot and hints on the Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers Movie Poster on Disney+ Day.

However recently on the What’s In My Head Podcast, a podcast interviewing animation industry people like Craig McCracken and Sabrina Alberghetti etc.., Tad Stones the creator of the OG Darkwing Duck was invited, check the whole podcast to get a inside look at Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers and Darkwing Duck days from the begginings of Disney TVA.

However in the Interview, the question about the reboot was asked with Tad Stones mentioning that “he is doing creative consultant job on the reboot despite his retirement”

1:09:46 - 1:09:56

Welp we could probably get news on the reboot probably this Thursday since its the 31 anniversary of the Darkwing Duck  “sneak preview on Disney Channel” or probably on May the month where the Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers debuts.

The Darkwing Duck Reboot has Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg as executive producers and the project is produced via Point Grey Pictures and Disney Television Animation.

Disney+  Teases Darkwing Duck Reboot News for 2022

Disney+ provides a clue about the status of the highly anticipated Darkwing Duck reboot who tomorrow it celebrates one year of being announced.

During a Disney+ Day announcement for the live-action/animated Chip ‘n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers movie, a script for Darkwing Duck could be spotted in the background that read, “Production Draft 2022.” and in other page  it says “Darkwing Duck” & in the yellow post-note it says “DWD Reboot Call”

The Reboot is set to be executive produced by Seth Rogen and his company Point Grey Pictures in association with Disney Television Animation.

It shouldn’t be to surprising to see this since Seth Rogen has a cameo on the Chip “N” Dale Rescue Rangers film, probably during that film a joke about the reboot will be made.

A update of the reboot was hinted when The Ghost And Molly McGee creator Bob Roth mentioned on his Twitter “We Are Aware Of The Reboot” when asked if he and Bill Motz could writte a episode since both worked on the original Darkwing Duck show.
