It all looks great, I just hope we get something Shazam/Cap related. Then again, I have a love hate relationship with the movies because of how they ruined Billy’s image to the rest of the world 🙄

Headcanon that Bruce’s kids have all pulled the ‘you're not my father card’ at some point or the other and by the time steph rolled around he didn't even take it seriously
Of course, the first time dick said it, bruce cried himself to sleep. But by the eighteenth time, he was numb to it. “Dickie just eat your peas.”
The first time jason did it Bruce pulled him aside and said “i know Im not, but that doesn't mean i don't care for you jason.” by the twenty fifth time he just held up the adoption papers
The first time Tim said it Bruce laughed. “Tim, you literally forced me to adopt you. Yes I am your father.” Tim didn't bother to say it from then on, maybe muttering ‘you're not my dad!’ under his breath at the computer, just for bruce to whisper ominously ‘yes i am.’
When Steph said it, full of anger and hate and sadness and fear, bruce just followed her and said “you're right. Im not your father. And i will never be your father. But, if you'll let me, id like to be better.” After that any time steph said ‘ur not my father’ bruce would just respond with ‘never will be’
Cass said “your are my father” and left no room for argument
Babs said “ur not my dad or my father or even close to being any of it, but you are my mom.” bruce just had to accept that
When damian said it bruce just stood there for a solid fifteen minutes rebooting. Dick and jason fell out of their chairs laughing.
Duke specifically went “ur my dad! My dad! Boogie woogie woogie!’ and bruce was just like ‘bet aight.”
Crack hc: any kid who says "you're not my dad/father/parent!" To Bruce's face triggers his adoption instincts.

Kory and Mar'i get along so well.
They love to do each other's hair and make fun hairstyles for each other using the hairspray to make it stick.
They absolutely love to go shopping together and try to have a girl's day at least once a month together.
Kory also answers any questions Mar'i has about her Tamaranean heritage since Mar'i looks more Tamaranean than Jake and has greater power than him. Kory loves to tell her and Jake the story of their people.

Listen, not only do I like the Batfam being completely human (except Duke, of course), I think it's such a vital part of their characterization. Each of them rely on their humanity and vulnerability in a different way, but it's still a core part of them.
That being said, I love the idea of Gotham's many curses and magical bullshit changing its inhabitants, and more important, enhancing her protectors.
Not by much, but enough for people to say "they're human... right?" and not being sure of the answer. It works better inside the city, where Lady Gotham herself can ensure her warrior's safety, but it lingers and it stays on them.
The way Bruce can blend a bit too well with the shadows, to the point not even metas can see him if he doesn't want to be seen.
The way Dick's body bends a bit further than should be possible, his muscles stretching and his bones at angles that would cause pain to most.
The way Jason is a bit too quiet for his body mass, how he seems to be able to move without making a sound despite his size.
The way Tim is a bit too quick-witted, a bit too observant, finding his enemies' weaknesses and flaws far too easy for a fast-paced combat.
The way Steph seems to always be on the right place at the right time, as if she were being guided to those in danger. She is always where she is needed.
The way stray animals like Damian a bit too much. They care for him and have his back in a display of intelligence that's not quite natural.
Yet they all still bleed. They feel pain and they cry and they are vulnerable.
Because they're still human.

Duke is asked last. He looks at them horrified. The JL thinks for a moment that thankfullybat least 1 of the batfam is sane and trustworthy. Then Duke explains - last week half of Gotham fell under mind control. Inculding several of the Batfam. Mind control is an extremely common thing in Gotham. Not having contingencies would lead to potentially having to kill a team member to protect civilians or allow them to attack and kill civilians while dealing with whatever caused the mind control.
The JL gain looks of horrified realization. But Duke continues. Just last month Superman was mindcontroled and went on a rampage. How do you think Batman was able to subdue him with minimal injury to anyone before he leveled half of metropolis.
If we didn't have a contingency plan then most likely either civilians would have been slaughtered or Superman would have been extremely hurt cause we wouldn't have been able to subdued him without significant damage to everyone involved.
Duke continues. Most contingencies are not lethal and attempt to reduce harm when possible. It's a fact of life in our life's that we will probably not always be in control of our actions. Let alone the possibility of betrayal ar some point. Which has happened in the past.
