The author of Fox Fires being inspired by these stories
I really enjoyed this pilot and I’m really hoping Cartoon Saloon will revive this series since Winnie The Pooh is now in the public domain. Albeit only the original literary classics but with a few changes it can be its own thing. Which wouldn’t be a stretch considering all the other changes they already took. Like the fact that the Hundred Acre woods is a suburban area with houses taking place in modern times. They’ve also taken the Calvin and Hobbes approach where the plush characters are only alive when no other humans are around. Overall I really enjoyed the short pilot and I’m craving for more.
The Animated Features of 2022: Ranked From Worst to Best
I don't do year-end lists unless their about animation. So here I'll be ranking 24 animated features from Wendell & Wild to Rise of the TMNT: The Movie to Strange World, these are The Animated Features of 2022: Ranked From Worst to Best
Sorting through the animated releases of the year used to be a lot easier. Before the rise of streaming, the animated features that were noteworthy were the ones that received a wide release and whatever else happened to catch either your own interest or the interest of awards voters. Granted, the many new services have meant that many traditional and stop-motion films could find homes where they…

The World According To Winnie The Pooh - 2014 pilot was a collab between Cartoon Saloon & Disney TVA, sadly it was passed by new Disney ABC leadership alongside Disney XD’s “Welcome To Simpleton" “Douglas Furs” “Pinchy And Ponchy” & "Very Important House” on 2016.
I am very pleased to finally share that for the past 7 months I’ve been working as the Design Supervisor on My Father’s Dragon - the new feature film we are making at Cartoon Saloon for Netflix. It’s an epic honour to work alongside Nora Twomey, Louise Bagnall, Ciaran Duffy and Áine Mc Guinness and the awesome team who are doing their best every single day! It’s a pleasure working with you all. Thank you!
“MY FATHER’S DRAGON (2021) is a 2D animated family feature film from director Nora Twomey (The Secret of Kells, The Breadwinner) and written by Meg LeFauve (Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur), with story by Meg LeFauve and John Morgan, who are also executive producers. Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn of Mockingbird Pictures are producing together with Paul Young of Cartoon Saloon (The Secret of Kells, The Breadwinner) and Tomm Moore. Based on the Newbery Honored children’s novels by Ruth Stiles Gannett, My Father’s Dragon tells the story of young run-away Elmer Elevator, who searches for a captive Dragon on Wild Island and finds much more than he could ever have anticipated. Alan Moloney and Ruth Coady of Parallel Films will also serve as executive producers alongside Gerry Shirren.”

Vikingskool Sets International Disney+ And Disney Channel Premiere Date
Time to pack up and learn the best way to be Vikings!
Disney EMEA has set the premiere time for SAMKA Productions, Cartoon Saloon’s & Disney Europe Animation’s Vikingskool, the premiere will be this Summer (May,June,July,August) Premiere will depend by the region and it’s only for International Disney+’s and Disney Channel’s this is beacuse sadly productions of Disney Europe Animation always avoid the United States, productions like Space Chickens In Space & The Unstopabble Yellow Yeti skip USA and are only avalible for International Markets in a similar way as Disney Argentina with their division “Disney Novelas” made for Disney Channel & Disney+ LA.
VikingSkool is a playful and irreverent comedy-adventure series in which children speak and behave like contemporary children, but Viking Skool is an epically sized world of stark contrasts.
Viking Skool forms the top of the top Viking chefs. Teenagers Ylva, Erik and Arni are three friends reunited at the Viking Skool. Becoming a Viking will not be an easy task.
Bound by their differences, their friendship only grows as they face the most insurmountable challenges.
Saw someone refer to Cartoon Saloon as the Irish Studio Ghibli and…
Yes. Yes it is. Seriously, watch their films if you have not had the pleasure already. Whether it’s the Irish Mythology trilogy
Or The Breadwinner, and upcoming ‘My Father’s Dragon’ with Netflix.
Watch these films. They are masterpieces of modern animation and innovation. I did my first film final on ‘The Breadwinner’ and have no regrets.
@the-only-milf-ever hehe typo in the group chat

Cartoon Saloon Unveils Rejected Pilot For A Winnie The Pooh Animated Series
Today Disney and Cartoon Saloon are collaborating in a new animated series called Vikingskool but back in 2014′s,
The Mouse and Irish Studio would have collaborated in a reboot of Winnie The Pooh to introduce the honey loving bear in to a new generation in the new century
As The One Hundred Acree Wood is now a suburban town and Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Rito, Rabbit, Owl & Kangoo will now live in this new enviroment
I have watched Wolfwalkers and I have to say it lives up to the hype. It’s a creative take on the classic werewolf story.
It’s one of the few animated movies I can definitely watch all the way through in theaters.
I enjoyed the song cover of Running with the Wolves and the scene where Robyn and Mebh are just wild and free in the moonlite night.
I teared up at the scene where Mebh was trying to heal her mother with her wolf magic and the reunion with Mebh, her mother, Robyn and the entire wolfpack.
I also appreciate how well this movie passed the Betchel test and how the main cast mostly consists of female characters and how much they carry the story.
Cartoon Saloon deserves all the accolades for creating another gem like this
So I wanted to create a size comparison chart for all our characters in Wolf form. The art book had some thing like that for their human forms and how the wolf form compares to an individual’s human character sheet. I do apologize for getting the sizes wrong, I did my best to be consistent with what the art book had.
I am aware that Moll and even Bill in wolf form looked a bit bigger in the movie. As I mentioned I was just using the references in the artbook, so I don’t know if they changed the sizes in the movie or not.
