Do you ever read other dragon stories? Watched other dragon cartoons/movies/tv shows? What are your thoughts on Game of Thrones?
I LOVE dragons and always did it is precisely for that that I watched the show as a kid ! Little kid me was SURE they existed. I had Dragonology as one of my favorite books ever so hard I was sure it was a real journal and dreamt to keep goint with the searches one day, I had the nintendo DS game too, I love the first HTTYD movie as one of my favorite movies, many dragon characters BD characters aside are my favorite characters ever (Mushu, Smaug etc) I have lots of other dragon books and encyclopedias, Charles à l'école des dragons is an adorable story for little kids with GORGEOUS illustrations and colors (the fact Charles' dad is a European Dragon and his mom a Chinese Dragon is top notch), to this day I THRIVE to get my hands on a little kids booklet Le Prince Ernest et le dragon à trois têtes but I never found it because must have been out of stock and I SWEAR ONE DAY I WILL GET IT EVEN IF IT'S A TODDLER BOOK, I loved Potatoes and Dragons, Dragon Hunters, American Dragon Jake Long, Dragon Booster (though I didn't understand anything about its plot lmao I was just staring at the dragons), any piece of media good or bad I gave a chance to because DRAGON IN IT, I liked the Spyro Nintendo DS games even if I never finished them and LOVE Reignited Trilogy (and want to fuck a bunch of Spyro's dads lmao) Raghnarok is one of my favorite comics ever and probably the reason why I want to make comics at all, I love it when they subvert the trope and have the dragon be friends or lovers with the princess or the knight, I am sure I am a scalie because of all of those, many movies or comics or shows that had no dragon until then suddenly having one (like Maleficient turning into one) suddenly gain +1000 coolness to my eyes, I loved lehends and mythologies with dragons or huge snakes in it and would get interested in the myths more just to know more about them, I loved dinosaurs because they were as close as dragon evidence as we could get, and in fact when I was 8 or 9 I had my very first lore-based story I gave up on since then because what I was imagining as super badass was very childish (but I reused elements here and there) was a series of books I wanted to write in a world inhabited by dragons with dragon characters, dragon-like gods, lots of species and designs etc. Buuut even if they look gorgeous I won't watch GoT for them, never was interested in such a dark violent and hopeless series whose moral is "humans are bad and any form of goodness will always be crushed" I already live in the real world so let me dream

Nope, I never cosplayed at all even though I do want to! But there was someone on DeviantArt and Furaffinity who used to cosplay as Princess Flame and it was cute, her DA account is now dead and her FA account no longer exists, though :

Blazing Dragons : 2 more seasons, a movie finale and a 2nd video game ; maybe some comics and prequel comics for the cartoon and the game alike
The Ant and the Aardvark : a spinoff cartoon in the style of Pink Panther and Pals, number of seasons unsure
Haunted Mansion : a cartoon, number of seasons unsure ; Phantom Manor and other rides in the same series
Nerds and Monsters : a reboot that sure does keep the humorous atmosphere however a different way like much less crass and dirt and more serious dangers and schemes, overall more credible lore and characters, number of seasons unsure
Wacky Races : either making the 3rd season and movie finale that were cancelled for the 2017 reboot OR making the cancelled 2006 reboot real, number of seasons unsure
The Dark Crystal : a rewriting of the sequel comics either under the form of comics or a movie that fixes the retcons and adapt to AoR's canon, and prequel comics about the Skeksis and the UrRu ; no continuation of AoR because I HAVE faith in Lisa Henson when she says they are looking for a way to continue
The Muppets : a new Muppet Show but like in the same theatre and all, unsure of the number of seasons
Petit Vampire : a cartoon in the same universe of the movie taking place after it, unsure of the number of seasons
Skeleton Warriors : 3 more seasons to continue and end the series, and possibly better comics
Something I absolutely love in cartoons and fiction in general but is not used often is when the evil stepfamily trope is downplayed and shows on the contrary a healthy reconstituted family with stepsiblings seeing each other as siblings and stepparents and stepchildren acting like they truely were a parental and child figure to each other. This gives me life

Princess Flame and Flicker, 17 years later. They’re married, in love, parents and he’s a knight. As some people can be hit by puberty at 21 and I see Flicker as being 19 in s1 and 20 in s2, he would suddenly grow taller than Flame the following year. And with years of knighthood he would develop muscles, stop to pluck his eyebrows, get one scarred and let his goatie grow. Flame likes. I see married!Flacker as being very in love but now the flirting phase of their relationship is over in which they don’t dare rising their tone (we all went through this one), they allow themselves in being cyinical, arguing and calling out each other (especially Flame, Flicker being such an idealist idiot at times) but they are still as conniving as ever.

She is not just more competent and intelligent than the knights, but than all the kingdom even slightly more than Flicker lmao and Flicker is not her squire but Sir Loungelot’s and she doesn’t hide him she loves him they just can’t be in a relationship because of medieval social status and can sadly only remain friends for now
