This whole comment is a perfect analogy as to how Nick mistreats its shows.

“Imagine: your dream of owning your own restaurant finally came true! Your restaurant is located in a mall food court along with two other competitors. On average the mall receives about 5000 customers per day, and about 2500 visit your location on average. Everything’s looking uphill until the owner of the mall contacts you. “Your restaurant’s doing fantastic, but unfortunately, since you don’t make as money as McDonalds, we’re going to have to relocate you outside the mall on the way out.” It’s an inconvenient spot on the side of the road. Customers have to make a U-Turn just to get to your restaurant. Because of that, average amount of customers falls from 2500 to 300 within a couple of months, and your restaurant closes. Your dream of starting your own business doing what you love shatters right before you because of the mall’s astronomical expectations.“
