I loved a lot of things about this new She-Ra, but one of my favorite things was the mother-daughter dynamic between Queen Angela and Glimmer. It was so refreshing to see a dynamic that wasn’t either sunshine & rainbows or incredibly abusive/manipulative.

they were so afraid of losing the other. they only had each other after king micah’s death and it made them grasp at each other in overwhelming ways. it was heartbreaking to watch as they realized they shared each other’s fears. such an amazing mother and daughter relationship
