Partly a Marcy appreciation post, but I feel like there’s something to be said about female characters showing up in children’s media with specific interests, trouble keeping focus and/or challenges expressing empathy and being prominently shown as capable on their own as individuals and able to maintain strong relationships without sacrificing parts of themselves. It honestly may not be something all that new, but it’s nice either way.

Sure, we’ve only had Marcy for less than a day, but she seems cool so far, can’t wait to see more of her.

I don’t care what anyone says, I love all these new character designs. They’re visually appealing and you can tell so much about each character just from looking at them.
