The fact that Amity was originally an exchange student to the human world certainly explains this human from the first episode that’s very similar looking to Amity. Luz’s crush came about from the very beginning apparently. Not to mention pilot Amity was indirectly responsible for Luz coming to the Boiling Isles in the first draft.

See this here? Do you notice all the basilisks just chilling there in front of Eda’s door? They are a part of the witch society. They get to coexist side by side with the others. Luz must have had some hand in this. Likely using her “The Titan actually spoke to me” experience to let the citizens allow them into the same space as them. Must have mean the world to Vee. She got to just enter back into the Demon Realm without worrying about Belos. Experience being part of everyday life without fear of capture. But she didn’t end up living there. No. Not when she already found her home with the Noceda family.
Vee found her home. She found her family. She didn’t need to go anywhere else in the demon realm when Camilla and Luz had been more then welcoming into their household.
With them she found her own identity, the one she forged outside the influence of Belos. Because of them she could be a part of both worlds with ease.

I am very grateful for Dana Terrace for getting the Disney corporation to squeeze in the last 3 specials she needed to complete her story for the satisfaction of her fans. I know she’s posted that she already packed up her office and probably has some other projects to focus on but I really hope she can give us more Owl House content.
Something akin to these books. Books that have appeared in show as in-universe journals. Though probably not journals since Luz was shown to go for the video diary route. It might be the book that appears in the epilogue or even the summer memories that details everything in the what-could-have-been the full length season 3
Maybe it doesn’t have to be a book that appears. Maybe it will be a brand new book that looks like something that would have appeared in the show like this one here.
Gravity Falls got all these books so The Owl House deserves at least one. After all Disney did realize they made the mistake of cutting the show so short. I hope we’ll get that extra Owl House content. Who knows, maybe it will be only a few short years or even a few short months until Dana gets hired back and we might get The Owl House: Earth Edition. Be it as a series of shorts or a flashback prequel series. Though it might be bittersweet considering the foregone conclusion of what happens to Flapjack afterwards.

Bonus: Happy reunion after the battle has won!
As we say goodbye to The Owl House gang, for now at least, let us consider how we remember history and those who left behind a legacy.
Philip Wittebane is someone is presented with delusions of grandeur. He prides himself as above those he deemed monstrous. The kinda beings he was taught to hate by the time period he came from. The toxic teachings of colonizers left him with a narrow world view of what was considered “right and wrong” and gave him a justification for the pain he has inflicted over the centuries.
Philip became Belos and with his rule he could control all the witches and wipe them out in one foul swoop, earning him a title of General Witch Hunter. He was so stubborn in what he feels is his destiny to fulfill he refused to consider the possibility that the world he knew left him behind centuries ago. He wouldn’t be revered for his deeds. Rather he would be scorned at worst and mocked at best. The values he grew up with are no longer acceptable. The modern world views witch hunts as shameful chapters they would rather ignore. The average person wouldn’t even know a Witch Hunter General was a thing. Belos chose to be stuck in the past, lying to himself as this savior of humankind when he was certainly not. Just a petty human who refused to take responsibility for anything, especially his brother’s death.
No one really mourned him when he died. He didn’t even get a glorious death either. Not a grand destruction of visual design, no blasting of light, just a pitiful one caused by the natural environment of the very world he tried to destroy. Finished off by the son of the god he claimed to have spoken to and the 2 adults whose generation was the very first to suffer under his short reign.
Over the course of 3 short years his influence and legacy slowly fades from memory as the Boiling Isles rebuilds anew.
With The Emperor’s Coven abolished, the restricting sigils are no more and the buildings he held influence over are destroyed or repurposed. Even the only one to carry his original full human blood is longer influenced by his teachings.
Hunter chooses to follow the path of witch rather then that of a witch hunter. Creating palisman and no longer capturing them for his uncle’s consumption. What’s really sticking it to his former uncle is that the legacy Hunter chooses to honor is that of the family of very witch who actively went against Belos.
Not to mention how Flapjack’s the one to be revered and remembered by those he watched over. The Hexside gang even got matching tattoos in honor of this little guy. Not to mention how he’s immortalized by the gravestone that resides in the now vitalized palistrom forest. The very symbol of Caleb and Evelyn’s love lives on while Belos is slowly being forgotten as forgotten folklore.
Belos didn’t get to tell his story. The Collector was able too and gets sympathized by the heroes. Philip wouldn’t have gotten the same thing since he’s a manipulative liar. Even to himself. The legacy of Flapjack triumphs over Belos.

I know all you Owl House fans are bitter that season 3 was cut short while Amphibia got a full season to tell all the stories they needed to tell. But think about it? Fans still complained during Amphibia season 3. Like the fact that they said the season dragged too long and Anne didn’t seem concerned enough to get back to Amphibia and stuff like that. If The Owl House got a full season fans would have had the same complaints. Then again we were robbed a lot of things because of a very small amount of episodes we were given like the abandoned house exploration being a full episode, the Hexside gang’s encounters with Jacob the conspiracy guy and how they went about Luz handling regular school work on top of finding a way back to the Boiling Isles. We were especially robbed of Caleb and Evelyn lore. They are still a mystery to us and it bothers me that the very people who set the plot in motion were non-entities in the show. I really hope we get supplementary material show. By Disney or by Dana Terrace herself.
Then again I guess it was fitting Amphibia got more episodes. We got to witness Anne and The Plantar family have these fun adventures together on Earth. Because once they were over, Anne and The Plantars would be separated permanently thanks to the destruction of the music box. The plot mandated its destruction since both worlds would have been in danger had dimensional still remained easily accessible.
Luz wouldn’t have that problem. Thanks to the The Collector’s generous gift, Luz and even her mother can enter the dimension as much as they want. Belos is no longer a problem and so far we haven’t witnessed any problems from Earth’s side. Luz would still have plenty more adventures with her new found friends and family. Even if us fans can’t witness it for ourselves.
