Mabel’s fake blonde comment hit more of a nerve then she realized
Guess Mabel still felt sore about the V-neck article replacing her squirrel fashion tips article
If you type in Platinum Paz in the thisisnotawebsite website you get a Pacifica’s story post-Northwest Manor Mystery.
The Northwest parents were upset (of course) that Pacifica let the townsfolk in and messing up their white carpet. They grounded their daughter for choosing to fulfill a centuries old obligation that wasn’t even that hard to fulfill thus saving the lives of their guests and staff. Thankfully the worst thing they did was merely cutting her off from the caviar spigot. Though Pacifica was unhappy with being reduced to eating caviar from a pack of Crustables for rich people. If Candy Chu actually knew what Pacifica’s life was actually like off camera she wouldn’t be so wistful about wanting to live it.
Pacifica actually blamed the Pines twins for blowing up her identity and family legacy. She wanted to go back to the days from before realizing the truth behind her corrupted family’s legacy.
Didn’t stop her from having guilt induced nightmares though. Being unable to wash away the misdeeds of her family and feeling scared she’ll end up hurting innocent people just for coming from the Northwest bloodline. It was at that point that her ancestor started talking to her as a statue. Someone who may or may not try to start Weirdmaggedon with Pacifica’s help
Apparently Mabel wasn’t the first person Bill tried to scam into giving him the globe with the rift in it.
Pacifica thankfully didn’t take the offer, remembering that before she was had to follow her parents demands her whole life. Realizing she was much freer than before she decided to try to change on her own.
Bill wasn’t having it though. Yelling at her for trying to stray from the path and telling her she’s nothing without her family’s legacy. Trying to belittle her for wanting to forge a new path when she couldn’t even forge genuine friendships only for her to remember Mabel’s simple gesture of friendship during Golf War.
Pacifica found the strength to reject the deal, preventing Bill from taking advantage of her vulnerability.
Even though Bill tells her she’s doomed to a future as a penniless diner waitress, it didn’t sway her into his grip. Pacifica forgets the dream but had the conviction to throw away the tapestry her family had of him in their home.
Really puts in perspective of her lost fortune in the series finale doesn’t it?
I know Alex Hirsch based Dipper and Mabel on himself and his twin sister Ariel but how much does this fact influence their family life?
Were the Pines parents really trying to work on their marriage over the summer? Did it make them realize they were better off divorced?
In honor of Summerween I thought I would post this fan made episode that was released on YouTube just a few hours ago here on Tumblr.
I am very grateful for Dana Terrace for getting the Disney corporation to squeeze in the last 3 specials she needed to complete her story for the satisfaction of her fans. I know she’s posted that she already packed up her office and probably has some other projects to focus on but I really hope she can give us more Owl House content.
Something akin to these books. Books that have appeared in show as in-universe journals. Though probably not journals since Luz was shown to go for the video diary route. It might be the book that appears in the epilogue or even the summer memories that details everything in the what-could-have-been the full length season 3
Maybe it doesn’t have to be a book that appears. Maybe it will be a brand new book that looks like something that would have appeared in the show like this one here.
Gravity Falls got all these books so The Owl House deserves at least one. After all Disney did realize they made the mistake of cutting the show so short. I hope we’ll get that extra Owl House content. Who knows, maybe it will be only a few short years or even a few short months until Dana gets hired back and we might get The Owl House: Earth Edition. Be it as a series of shorts or a flashback prequel series. Though it might be bittersweet considering the foregone conclusion of what happens to Flapjack afterwards.

I know some fans have complained that Mabel made Weirdmaggedon happen and didn’t suffer the consequences of her actions. But the thing is Mabel was one of many Bill made deals with to cause the events to happen. Mabel was oblivious that it was Bill and wasn’t told about the rift. She wouldn’t have made the deal if she knew that it was him.
She woke up in a dreamscape and had no memory of the encounter. The bubble got her everything she wanted even before she asked. Which was probably how Dippy Fresh came to be. Mabel had to leave the bubble to truly realize the horror her selfish wish caused.
Once she realizes how dire the situation was, Mabel was willing to fight back against Bill and his nightmare party guests. Unlike a certain Time cop who was quick to escape as soon as his backup got fried by Bill.
Mabel did everything she could to fight against Bill and as soon as Stan sacrificed his mind to save everyone, everything was restored.
This was the face of someone who knew messed up big time.
She knew that it was because of her selfish desires that Grunkle Stan was nearly lost to them. Mabel’s wish for an endless summer of never growing up cost Stan his memories of everyone who loved him. Even her.
But thanks to certain jogs to the memory Stan could be brought back and Mabel , along with the rest of the family helped restore him to the Stan they knew.
At the end of the summer when it was time to leave, Mabel has shown maturity by accepting she couldn’t just shrink the whole town and bring them back to Piedmont with her. Even if it was possible. Mabel decides to just accept the signatures of the townsfolk and move on to new experiences and adventures.
Marcy’s journal is being officially published. We will get more show lore from Amphibia then before. I know The Owl House deserves some tie-in books but wouldn’t it be epic if Mabel’s scrapbook got published for the show’s 10th anniversary.
Let it be known that as the only current Disney cartoon protagonists with a confirmed date of birth they are canonically older then most of their current Disney peers. They are older then Cricket, Tilly, Molly, Anne and Luz and technically 90s babies.
Does anyone remember decoder rings? Or your parents and/or grandparents talking about them? Or at least seen references to them in cartoons?
I remember wanting one of these as a kid. At the very least you are able to buy adult versions on Amazon or anywhere else online.
It really got me thinking about how Gravity Falls, Amphibia and The Owl House came up with these ciphers for their respective shows and how hard the fans try trying to decipher them from the show. You know what they should sell on their independent merchandise site The Mystery Shack? Decoder rings!
