Bombshells League

Can we replace the Justice League in the comics and in the movies with this version? :D

Seriously, can someone explain to me why DC Bombshells isn’t how these characters are in the DCU? I mean, sure some of it would have to be changed as we’re not in WWII and the aesthetic doesn’t entirely work but, really, these characters are almost universally the best versions of themselves currently in print. (Harper is pretty awesome in Batman & Robin Eternal as well.)

This is as close as I may ever get to the Batgirls book I really, really want. And you have Bette Kane, Harper Row, Alysia Yeoh, Kathy Duquesne, Nell Little and Felicity Smoak as Batgirls - protecting Gotham. Bette takes over Kane Industries and begins to build houses for all of the war refugees.

And that’s just what is happening in Gotham!

Wonder Woman is standing up for prisoners of war and doing the hard ugly parts that people don’t talk about.  She’s showing compassion to her enemies and saving lives.  Kate Kane’s ex-girlfriend Renee was a rebel fighter in the Spanish Civil War and her current is chief of police in Gotham. Catwoman is a bored Italian Baroness manipulating society for ‘good’. Stargirl and Supergirl are sisters, growing up together and growing stronger for it.  Mera is just fun.  Waller is in control and is as she should always be in all respects.  Zatanna is of mixed Jewish and Romani heritage.

And John Constantine is a bunny.
