Janus who’s hair is white due to the many times Patton convinced Thomas to go on an honesty streak because “lying is wrong” almost forcing Janus to fade from his mind.
Janus who’s hair is long because after Virgil left he didn’t have anyone to cut it, because he’ll knows he’s not letting Remus near his head with anything sharp, so eventually he gave up and just let it keep growing out.
Janus who wears gloves to hide the scars and slight tremor from years of alcohol.
Janus who’s capelet is weighted to ease stress because his everyday routine doesn’t allow for the downtime of sitting in bed with a weighted blanket.
Janus who’s in-nerving thinnes, paleness, and the bags under his eyes go unnoticed because “villians usually look creepy”.
Janus who’s cane is assumed to be purely an aesthetic choice, but really supports his weight when his body is to fatigued to do it.
Janus who routinely lets Virgil dye his hair fun colours after they make up because the snowy white doesn’t need to be bleached.
Janus who grows to love his hair long when Roman admits to enjoy braiding it.
Janus who starts being less self conscious about the scars after Patton sees them while he washes dishes, and mush to his suprise doesn’t judge him, but instead lets him know he’s glad he’s here and to ever talk to him if he feels like that again.
Janus who slowly drinks less and less after being accepted, because there was no reason to bury negative emotions when you have a family to talk them out with.
Janus who’s schedule eventually evens out, leaving him with the ability to make use of the weighted blanket in his closet.
Janus who starts eating more, sleeping more, and going out more. Now that he doesn’t have to watch his back for monsters in the dark.
Janus who’s cane isn’t judged or discarded by the others but a signal to help him whenever the fatigue becomes too much.
