Y/N had insomnia, so it was obviously hard to sleep at night. They’d look up at their ceiling fan and wish they had someone by their side, but no one would appear. They sighed, missing their friend Senpai.

They had been friends for a few years now, so they definitely knew each other well. But lately, y/n had started feeling nervous around him and actually caring what they said and how they looked. They knew what it was, but they didn’t wanna acknowledge or accept it. They groaned in frustration as their attempt to sleep continued to be for naught.

They suddenly got an idea and walked over to the closet, getting thread, felt, stuffing, cloth, and buttons. They hummed happily as they got to work, sewing and stitching.

They smiled widely as they looked at their creation: a plush, Coraline-like doll version of yours truly: Senpai.

~timeskip of a few days~

Senpai walked into your kinda shitty apartment and smiled at you warmly. Him and the rest of the drab and dreary apartment made an interesting contrast as he walked around.

“Can I get you anything?” y/n asked, getting nervous that he would go in the master room where their cloth companion would be.

“Some green tea, please!” he called back, continuing to walk around. Eventually, the master door stood in front of him. Your heartbeat quickened.

What would happen if he found it? Would he think you’re crazy? would he tell everyone about it? No, he wouldn’t do that, would he?

Senpai turned the knob and walked in, eyes scanning the room as they landed on the plush on their bed. He blushed a bit and picked it up, laughing a bit. “Hey, y/n, did ya make this?”

Their face turned red with embarrassment. “I...I made it to help me sleep when I’m alone.” they admitted quietly. Senpai chuckled and walked over. “I love it! It has an incredible likeness.”

He stood over them, lifting their chin up so they would look at him. He leaned down and kissed their cheek gently. They felt like they were gonna pass out. Yep, they were down bad.

“Do call me if you’re having sleeping problems again darling, won’t you~?”

Senpai woke up extremely drowsy and out of it, tied to a pole in a dark, damp basement. Typical of a Yandere. His head ached as he raised it up, his eyes seeing nothing but darkness.

Footsteps descended down into the room he was being held captive in, his dangerous and twisted friend, y/n. They smiled a crooked smile as a flickering fluorescent light was turned on.

“You’re awake! I didn’t even know if you’d wake, sleeping beauty. Emphasis on the beauty, my porcelain doll.” they walked over and stroked his cheek a bit.

Senpai spat on them, moving his face so they wouldn’t be touching it anymore. “You’re sick. Why the hell am I here?” he spat, his words venom from his mouth.

They scowled again, grabbing him by his hair. “That is not how you will talk to me. I am yours, and you are mine. I’ve done everything for you! I’ve worked so hard to get us to this point! I’ve sacrificed everything!” they screamed in his face.

“I don’t give a shit what you’ve sacrificed! You killed them! You killed so many people! You killed the people I care about!” he was crying now, his attractive voice breaking.

They smiled that smug, sickening smile again and touched his chin, moving it up slightly so he would look at them. “I’m the person you’ll care about now. I’m all you’re gonna need, and all you’re gonna want. Just wait, beautiful.”

“Keep your disgusting hands off of me.” he snapped at them. They smacked him across the face hard. “You’ll learn to love me, Senpai. You’ll learn. We’ll be the beautiful couple we were meant to be.” they said. A noise could be heard from upstairs.

They sighed a bit and grinned. “I’ll be back. Think on it, yeah?” they walked back up the stairs and tuned the lights off, heaving open the iron door and leaving.

Senpai cried softly to himself, wondering how he got here and what his fate was at the hands of this darkly ephemeral love.
