I wonder if his eyes being a different colour from the movie ‘Thor’ was on purpose or a mistake.

Hmm, good question. Remember how green is a very important color in respect to who he is? I would think making his eyes obviously green as they have promoted a bit would further tell viewers how he feels about his initiative.

Although let's think about it: What's in his heart? The desire [greed-green] to rule Earth and be ruler and have everything he has every wanted? Or is the desire to be noticed by someone he wants to be noticed by [Thor-hence blue or icy silver sort of]? There's been a lot of break-downs about Loki from different people and I've been leaning towards the "He knows he won't rule Earth b/c of the Chitauri so instead he's focusing on being a child and breaking things to be noticed by his brother."

I don't think leaving out something like eye-color would have been missed. Or at least I hope so. It's kinda important imo.
