my dnd character recently demoted himself back to a lemure. luckily he got back to a imp. but now he's a weird little fuzzy guy.
Season 2 of Dungeons and Dual Mode is out now!!!
This time around, our main character finds herself trapped in a forest, lovely, dark, and deep. with no key to mysteries the old trees keep.
(You don't gotta listen to season 1 to watch this one!)
This season, Kay is our DM!!! She has put so much time into building this world, and it shows! This may be better than season 1: already!!!
Here is some miscellaneous art of Maple Lastname, our esteemed victim.
it's Here!!!

Question for DMs!
do you guys keep notes about your campaign or is it all in your head? I don't write anything down besides in-canon books, something I want to specifically quote, etc. is that normal?

Roy
Dio
and
Caim
its so funny that every character I do the lineup looks like this. normal guy X3 and a bird devil
You play as a dragonborn reflavored as the whistle dinosaur, the Parasaurolophus, in which your breath weapon is thunder damage. Frozen for centuries beneath the ice where as just a young dinosaur you fell into when the comet first struck the ancient world. Discovered years later you take up an oath to your ancestors as a paladin to discover which ever God summoned that comet. As an Oath of the Ancients Paladin, your Nature's Wrath summons the plant life from the late cretaceous period. Your holy symbol? A fossil of what you assume is your father. Your aura of warding gifts your allies a comforting layer of feathers and scales to protect them. But the real icing on the cake is you walk around telling everyone their various bad behaviors are what killed the dinosaurs.
Carrying around my dead father:
shoutout to my old dnd character: Spade Tillharrow
he was a two foot all bard with like 13 HP in curse of strahd, and by some miracle survived the longest. not just the longest, this man survived 2 party overturns. its not like the DM went easy, he died eventually, but its just pure luck and being the only support character. love ya Spade.
old drawing from like 2022 (?)
the pain of wanting a lawful evil paladin. he would never break an oath, but he's not anything but. :(((((((
Hey followers! I made an account for @sentient-deer-skull and I'd dnd podcast. If you're interested, the account is @dungeonsanddualmode !!!
Caim, disgraced devil warlord
musings on dnd style elves:
- why do I never see elves that age the same as humans, but slower. e.g. being a baby for like 20 years, a child for like 40 years, etc.
- why are elves always marginally shorter than humans, I feel like only the very tall elves and very short humans should overlap in height.
- I want to see more spidery stuff incorporated into elves as a whole. drow can have house spiders and all the cave guys, but surface elves should revere jumping spiders and other surface arachnids
- Homo slyvanesis
- When elves finally die they get a big burst of every thing they would have dreamed about could they sleep
- sea elves are just dumb
- do elves have arboreal adaptations?
- what is the advantage of long ears?
- what does living a thousand years do to a being, especially with no sleep? the only animals that do that are too dumb to know or are a shark
- why is there a bunch of 500 year old elves going on adventures at level 1? surely they would build skill up
- maybe elves have slight fey tendencies, like as annoying as hiccups. urge to ask to come in, people around them forget their own name briefly when asked, favors are more important to them than to other humans
ATTENTION ALL ADVENTURING PARTIES!
Don’t forget to thank your party healer for their support and efforts!
And if you are that healer…. don’t forget to ask for some recognition every once and a while-
There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be appreciated
@sentient-deer-skull Thanks for keeping your friends alive :)
If any of you guys are interested in the shapeshifter episode of Dungeon Meshi, may I recommend an episode of my podcast where a similar thing happens. Here! you'll probably have to listen to the rest of the podcast to really understand it, but I think the whole thing has a similar vibe to dungeon meshi.
