When we’re walking out of the baby store following two solid hours of shopping for our baby and suddenly remember we need to pick out a gift for one of my pregnant wife's friend's baby shower.

When my wife finds out one of her coworkers is pregnant too.

When the baby is kicking particularly hard.

When my wife can’t shovel some of the 30 inches of snow off our driveway because she’s pregnant.

Whenever I try and fold up the supposed “easy-fold” strollers.

How everyone reacts when they see her baby belly:
Whenever my pregnant wife gets something free from one of the baby magazines in the mail.

When I find out that my pregnant wife will be able to burn 1000 calories a day just by breast feeding.

When we’ve pretty much wrapped up our baby registry, but my wife goes online and finds a new stroller worth considering . . . which would lead to a new car seat worth considering . . . and a new car seat base . . . and new patterns . . .

Every night, my third trimester pregnant wife trying to get comfortable on the couch.
