“I’m not as dumb as I look!” Boomer shouted with anger, his eyes trained on the ground as he continued to glare at it.

“I don’t think you look dumb at all...” a small voice said.

Boomer looked to his side because that’s where the voice came from.

Woah,’ he thought, ‘she’s cute.” Not long after the thought, he grimaced. ‘Ew, a girl.’

He shook his head, and looked back at the girl who wasn’t that much shorter than him.

“You don’t?” He finally responded. He looked her up and down, before scanning her face to see if she was making fun of him in any way. But she wasn’t.

“No…” she trailed off, eyes shyly on the ground, looking at some squirrel who chewed on an acorn.

“I think you look nice…” she fumbled with her hands behind her back. “Well, I’m not,” He glared.

The girl in front of him slightly flinched when her eyes came up to meet his. Her eyes were almost immediately back on the ground.

“Oh…” she said, not sure of what to say. Boomer was confused to say the least. Did this girl not know who he was? What he was capable of? That he terrorizes the city every other day?

“Go get me some candy!” He blurted, remembering Brick’s orders from not too long ago. Her head snapped up at him. “O-Okay!” She turned away from him, and quickly walked to the nearest candy store, which wasn’t far.

Before she opened the door to the candy store, she turned back around, and marched back up to Boomer.

He looked at her with a confused face. Did she not hear me? I just said to get me some-

“What kind of candy do you like?” She asked. Boomer was stunned.

What kind of candy did he like? Yeah, he always eats candy, but it’s always the kind Brick or Butch likes. He tends to forget the names of it, so he shrugs.

“I dunno, what kind of candy do you like?” He asked, curious to see if he’d like her recommendations.

Her eyes lit up. “Jawbreaker!” She chimed, delighted. His eyes lit up too. “I like that too!” He smiled. Y/N gasped, “really?” “Yeah!” “Yay!” She squealed.

“Do you want cotton candy too?” “What’s that?” He asked curiously. “Isn’t it some sort of cotton ball?” He asked, seriously. She giggled at him, he tilted his head in confusion. “No, silly! It’s-” but then she registered his words for real. ‘Wait. It is sort of like a cotton ball…

“Wait, you’re right! It is sort of like a cotton ball!” She nodded, agreeing with him.

I’m right?’ He questioned himself. Boomer smirked, proud of himself. Of course I’m right! She was the first ever person to agree with what he’s said, and man, did it feel good.

“Yeah! It’s like a cotton ball, but it tastes good!” She explained, excited to taste some at the moment.

“We’ll, go get some!” He ordered, wanting to taste good cotton balls. “Do you want to come with me?” She asked, hopeful. He nodded with eagerness. “That’s a good idea,” he thought. “Yeah!”

The both of them made their way inside the candy store, filling up their cart with loads of jawbreakers, cotton candies, and more sweet candy. Y/N was sitting inside the cart as Boomer pushed it, knocking some lollipops on top of her, she giggled, letting it fall into the basket.

She was buried with candies, the wrappers making her neck itch a little, but she was fine, smiling. Having a great time. The cashier was keeping an eye on them the whole time. I mean, how could he not. One of the rowdyruff boys was in his shop, but nevertheless, he wasn’t calling for help.

That was until Boomer rushed out the store with the cart still in his hands. A dark streak of blue trailing after him as he made his escape. Y/N was screaming at how fast they were going. Boomer just smirked, enjoying the wind that was whipping past him.

In a matter of seconds, they were in a public park where more kids were playing. Colorful butterflies were fluttering their pretty wings, as the pretty calm birds chirped.

But Y/N was still screaming.

“Shh! Shh! It’s okay!” He tried his best at comforting her, and it worked. She stopped screaming.

She had just committed a crime.

And it was fun.

“We were going so fast!” She exclaimed, trying her best to turn towards him, the candy surround her making it hard to do so.

Boomer gave her a small smile before helping her out of the basket. Effortlessly placing her on the brown wooden bench that had the perfect view of all the kids.

Soon, they were both seated, eating candies from the cart as they continued to talk.

“Wanna try the cotton candy?” Y/N asked, excited to share the same love for the sweet as so was Boomer.

“The good cotton balls?” He questioned. She giggled again, “Yeah!”

“Oh! Then, yes!” He nodded, watching her get up, and reach over the basket, digging for the cotton candy. She moved lollipops, suckers, bubble gums, chocolates, and more before she reached the blue cotton candy.

She chose the blue cotton candy over the pink because she thought Boomer would like the blue more. It reminded her the color of his eyes. Even though, the cotton candy wasn’t dark blue, it was still blue, and she thought he’d like it.

Boomer slightly bounced his leg, excited to taste the candy. He watched as Y/N opened the clear bag of the blue cotton candy. She softly tore a small piece for Boomer to eat, just in case he didn’t like it.

She handed it to him, her fingers slightly brushing up against his fingers. She blushed, as she smiled, silently waited for him to eat it.

Boomer plopped the blue cotton candy into his mouth as it melted on the center of his tongue. He hummed, satisfied with the taste. His eyes dilated, sweetness filling him.

“Give me more,” he demanded, “a bigger piece,” he was craving for more sweetness.

She giggled, “Okay,” tearing him off a bigger piece, handing it to him. Then, she tore some off for herself.

After a while of silence, sharing the cotton candy, as they watch the other kids play. Boomer decided to break the silence.

“So, how long have you been in Townsville?” Boomer asked, grabbing a jawbreaker from the basket.

“Not long,” she answered honestly, “maybe two weeks?” She plopped a red gummy bear into her mouth.

Well, that explains why she didn’t know who he was.

“Hey, I was meaning to ask, how are you able to fly, and…lift me up really high? Only my dad can do that,” she curiously asked. The only people she knew who could move at incredible inhumane speed, and fly were the-

“Stop right there, Boomer!”

Y/N flinched as she looked up to see the Powerpuff girls.

Boomers body tensed, as he looked up. He rolled his eyes, “What do you want?” He glared.

Bubbles was the first to noticed Y/N. She gasped, “what are you doing here, Y/N?”

Buttercup looked over at the said girl, “with him?” She finished Bubbles sentence.

”We’re hanging out,” she answered, shrugging her shoulders. “ are you aware he stole the candy that you’re eating?” Blossom asked, sure that you didn’t know.

“No, she didn’t know,” Boomer answered for her, glaring at the red headed girl.

“I figured, now you’re coming with us to pay for your crimes!” Blossom exclaimed, her body ready for a fight because she knew he’d refuse.

“No! Don’t hurt him!” Y/N’s shirt legs jumped up, and ran in front of Boomer, protecting him. “I won’t let you take him!” She held her arms out, guarding him.

The girl’s gasped, surprised by Y/N’s actions. “I-I’ll pay for the candy.” Boomer stood silently behind Y/N, watching her defend him. It was nice to see someone stick up for him. It warmed his heart. It wasn’t something that happened often.

Sure, Brick and Butch always defended him when it came to other people, but that was because they had to. They’re his brothers, of course they have to.

But the way Y/N did it, it was an action that was filled with care and determination.

“Y/N, I’m sure you’re not aware of who he is-” Blossom started, ready to explain the mistake you’re making.

“He’s my friend! And you will not touch him!” Y/N exclaimed. His heart warmed at that. Friend. She quickly turned around to face Boomer. “Run, Boomer! Run away!” She pleaded.

She was aware of what the girls did to people who committed crimes. She didn’t want that happening to Boomer, her eyes watered. Boomer became angry, he didn’t know why. All he knew was that the Powerpuffs made his friend cry.

“They’re gonna hurt you, Boomer!” She cried more. “Please run!” She exclaimed.

The only way for her to stop crying was if Boomer got out of sight, and away from the girls, and so he did just that.

He bolted away, a dark blue streak trailing behind him. He’ll find her again.

“Surprise!!” Penny cheered, taking the silk black blindfold off your eyes.

You were met with tall buildings, the sweet smell of fresh pastries, citizens being kind and helpful towards one another, as a calming soothing vibe skipped through the air.

Townsville.

Your eyes widened in fright when you realized what city you were in. The city he was in.

You spun around to face Penny in panic. “No, w-we have to go. We can’t be here,” your eyes began to water. You began to shake. “I don’t want to be here.”

Penny’s eyebrows furrowed in worry and a look of confusion casted over her face. “Why? What’s wrong? I thought you would’ve been excited about being here. Boomer’s here,” she tried to soothe you. But the said name made the tears finally slip down your cheeks.

God, you were doing so well with holding them in.

Penny had no idea what happened between you and Boomer a month ago because you didn’t tell her.

“You ... you love someone else?” Your voice cracked the moment you spoke.

Boomer thickly swallowed. He wasn’t looking at you. He couldn’t. He knew he was breaking your heart. He just couldn’t bare to see himself do it. To see you while he did it.

“Yeah,” he softly spoke, nodding. “But, hey, it’s okay, right? Because we can still be friends, a-and-”

Fuck. He stuttered, he didn’t mean to. He wanted to be strong during this conversation. But he felt how strongly you felt, and that was causing his own heart to break.

“Like hell we can be friends..” you weakly started. Boomer accidentally looked up from the ground, at you.

“How can we still be friends, when we both know how badly I wanna be with you?!”

Boomer felt like he was being shot.

“All I’ve ever done was lie for you,

Stop.

care for you,

fight for you,

did anything and everything to help you,

He felt like all of his powers were being ripped from him.

godamnit, Boomer! I live for you! I’d even die for you...”

He was forced by himself to watch your tiny clear tears slip from your pretty eyes.

He felt like he couldn’t breathe. Why was this so hard for him to do? He loves Bubbles,

But he’s loved you all his life.

And he just realized it.

Boomer closed his eyes. He felt them begin to water. His long, curled, black lashes fluttered against he cheeks, as his eyebrows furrowed. He wasn’t gonna cry. He wasn’t.

“I love you, Boomer ...”

you continued to cry, you buried your face in your hands.

Boomer couldn’t take it anymore. He rushed out the door, and down the street. A dark blue streak not too far behind him. He focused his hearing on the wind that was rushing past him as he moved forward. He never hated his super hearing more than he did the second he heard your heart aching cries escape your throat as he got farther and farther away from you.

“I know he’s here, Penny, but I’d really love it if we could-”

“Well, if you love it so much, turn around!” She smiled, clapping her hands, looking past your shoulder as her eyes shined with delight and excitement.

Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion, you turned around, but instantly wished you hadn’t when your eyes met the ones you’ve been trying to escape in your dreams.

His dark blue eyes.

It felt as if all time had stopped. Your eyes emotionless as ever. They had been dull since the last time you saw him.

“Well, if it isn’t Miss Penny 2.0!” Butch announced, looking you up and down. “Man, I swear you two get finer as the day goes by,” he smirks.

“Still not into younger men, Butch,” she sternly reminded him, shortly laughing after.

You force yourself to look away from Boomer, but the next thing your eyes land on are Brick’s red ones.

He raised a brow at you. You okay?

He asked without having to open his mouth.

You gave him a small smile, nodding. He nodded as well, not taking his eyes away from you.

Penny gasped as she saw one of the delicious pastries a nearby citizen bit into.

“Butch! Boomer! Let’s go get one of thoseee!” Penny’s cheerful childish nature kicked in, she ran over to the boys, and dragged them into the nearby store she saw the citizen exit from. You watched as she did so, not removing your eyes from the store they entered.

“He’s right,” Brick spoke up, making you look in his direction. “You do look good.”

The corner of his lip slightly lifted, as he made his way into the store his brothers were previously dragged into.

Okay, but imagine actually being good at dancing with Brick, and singing. SCREAMS.

I’m thinking about singing dusk till dawn , while dancing with Brick. And him acting like he’s not mesmerized by your voice.

Im more of a Boomer’s girl, but here I am. Thinking about Brick. Again.

Y’all, hear me out💀: Brick and Brat.

Ik a lot of y’all are gonna be like ‘Brick probably wouldn’t like her because of how she acts and bc she lives up to her name, and brick will become annoyed or angry fast.’

No.

Brick couldn’t care less about the way she acts because Brat isn’t a bitch- at least not to him💀.

She’s mostly laid back, like he is. Level headed, like he is. Likes to plot and move in silence, before making a grand reveal that all the evil shit that’s been happening to one of her enemies, was her? Oh, Brick is proud. He also likes to be present when it happens.

He also understands the girl will do anything and everything to get what she wants. Sometimes, he doesn’t like the extent she’ll go to just to have something she wants, but like the brat she is, she’ll go against him.

Sometimes, she’ll transport to his dimension just to see him because she misses her partner in crime.

“I don’t like how quiet this city is,” she pouts, arching a brow as she looks around the boring city.

“Well, it is Townsville,” Brick mutters, glaring at other pedestrians he passed. “Stupid Powerpuffs always runnin’ around, and savin’ the day. Not much to do, B,” he explains.

The girl beside him lets out a low laugh. Brick stops walking. His eyes slightly widens. He knows that laugh.

An unconscious smirk plays on his lips, as his friend swivels around to face him.

“Oh, and what? You’re afraid of some puny little girls with superpowers? Who are you, Brick?” She looks at him with an unpleased face. But he knows she’s just teasing him.

“Come on, Brat, it’s not-”

“Who are you, Brick?” She repreats, pronouncing the ‘k’ in his name sharply.

She moved closer to him, all in his personal space, but no matter how hard she tried to intimidate him, it wouldn’t work because of how short she was. So she started to float, until she towered over him.

Brick looked off to the side with an uninterested gaze, and came across a gas station, but was forced to look back at her when she roughly grabbed his collar.

“Who. Are. You?” Her words low and dangerous.

“A Rowdyruff Boy.”

“Not any Rowdyruff Boy. The leader,” her dark blue irises shined with mischief. “The brain, and one of the brawns.”

“One of the most villainous badasses in this town. In the world. To exist,” she smiled.

Brick listened to her words with intent as she went on.

“A God, a bad boy, an evil mastermind, a fucking legend. A menace to society.”

He let out a chuckle, lowering his head. He shook it with a smile on his face. He looked back up at her.

“And you’re meaning to tell me, you’re scared of three little do- gooders?”

“I’m not afraid of nobody.”

“Nobody?”

“Nu uh,” he whispered, his words low.

“That’s my boy. Now, let’s make some fucking noise,” she smirked, blasting the building that stood next to them, listening to it crumble. And the screams people let out. Even the footsteps those poor useless humans tried to use in order to get away from them.

Her eyes never left his, as the building went down.

“Partners in crime, right?” She asked, her voice innocent, but he knew she was full of shit.

His eyes turned blood red, heating up his heat vision. “Partners in crime, B.”

I WENT OVERBOARD WITH THAT. SORRY😭‼️.

They will forever give me Bonnie and Clyde vibes😩.
