Women’s History Month #TBT: It’s been almost 100 years since many women won the right to vote, but the fight continued, and even today, voting rights are still under attack.
Your rights shouldn’t depend on who you are or where you live — whether it’s the right to vote or the right to access the health care you need — and it's time for us to move forward together.
On this day in 1920, the 19th Amendment became law and many women won the hard-fought battle for the right to vote. Today, we're 10 weeks out from Election Day, and the stakes for women's rights are as high now as they were then. We're celebrating our history — but we won't go back to it. Happy Women's Equality Day!
This week marks the 94th anniversary of many women winning the right to vote — and unbelievably, there are still politicians who want to treat women like second-class citizens. We're not letting anyone make our decisions — about our health, our bodies, or our lives — but us. Women are watching, and we will vote.
94 years ago today, the 19th Amendment was ratified and women won the right to vote.
Let's use it this November.

This week marks the 42nd anniversary of Title IX, which prohibits sex discrimination in educational programs that receive federal funds. Title IX opened doors for women and girls in school to pursue sciences and sports, and also protects women from sexual harassment and violence — although there's still a lot of work to do to eradicate sexual violence on campus.
Happy birthday, Title IX. Here's to continuing to make school a more equal place for women.
October 23rd 1915: Suffrage parade On this day in 1915, over 25,000 women marched on Fifth Avenue in New York City. They were advocating female suffrage and women’s rights in America. The campaign for female suffrage culminated in the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment to the US Constitution in 1920 which ensured the right to vote shall not be denied on account of sex. Notable figures in the female suffrage movement in America include Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton.
