Weiss is working. Far harder than she should. She's pushed away all her friends, and barely has contact with her family, all in an effort to make her family name mean something again.
Sadly however a freak car accident, and a surprise sandstorm put a hold on her tendencies, and she's stuck in a diner run by what appears to be the ghosts of her past.

Your town is on fire!” Despite this, the star didn’t seem bothered at all in the slightest. “It’s nothing out of the ordinary!” they even state proudly. “Besides, we have our heroes to protect us!” As if on cue, a flurry of rose petals appeared in the air, swirling like a red tornado. From the petals emerged a figure with a red scythe in hand, rushing forward to scoop up the Paper Pleasers scattered about, moving them away from the flames. And once they were all out of the way, white, glowing glyphs materialized in the air, glimmering like ice as a flurry of fine snow smothered the fires in a matter of seconds. Yang’s palms grow cold. OR. Instead of Jaune, what if Ruby and Weiss were the ones who got transported back in time?

When? Feb 22nd-March 1st
Join me as I simp in overdrive and celebrate the true ot3 of RWBY that CRWBY would give us WERE THEY NOT COWARDS!
Why should you participate? Other than to show off, and celebrate the glorious ot3? What other reason could you need? There certainly isn’t…another reason, or is there?
If you do not adhere to the spirit of the week I reserve the right to not include your works in <redacted>.
Can I participate if I draw? Knit? Etc, and don’t write?
Absolutely! All forms of art are open except rhythmic gymnastics because it knows good, and well what it did.
You can also post/reblog or all that if you like the idea, but aren’t keen on participating.
In order for the event to go more smoothly we’ll be doing one set of prompts, and you can fit it into whatever world, or au you want. Ie you can do a Remnant au, or a modern au. All up to you.
Any other questions, and respond/ask this account because I’m lazy, and am not making another account for this.
Our banner will be provided by the incredible @it-me-butts at a later date. Please make sure to let them know how absurdly talented they are as well as any participants!

Plans change as they often do, but this time are they changing for the better? Weiss is determined it will be no matter what she has to endure.

When? Sign ups are November 1st to November 16th
You can post them anytime from December 1st onward through December 31st.
Length: Min 2-2.5k but you can go longer if you want. The minimum is there just so everyone gets at least a 1 shot worth of fic in return since if they wrote like a novel and got a 400 word drabble back it wouldn’t feel great.
What do I need to do? Tell me you want to sign up, and give me your ao3 name as well as any pairings, tropes, etc you don’t want to write. Ie I do not want to write about Arkos,Neon or Miltia, or Coffeeshop aus.
Also give me your general prompt (first christmas WR/BB etc) I will then match you up with other compatible people. I won’t limit you in other ways, but try to adhere to good taste. I’ll only add more rules if I have to do so. I trust we’re all adult or adult adjacent here.
You will know who you are writing for, but not who yours is until they post it.
When posting tag on tumblr, or ao3’ Power Taco Secret Santa 2024’ so we can see ‘em all in the same tag. If I learn how I’ll request and add em to a collection for future posterity.
