Weiss is working. Far harder than she should. She's pushed away all her friends, and barely has contact with her family, all in an effort to make her family name mean something again.
Sadly however a freak car accident, and a surprise sandstorm put a hold on her tendencies, and she's stuck in a diner run by what appears to be the ghosts of her past.

DWR (Death’s Whiterose) Week
When? Feb 22nd-March 1st
Join me as I simp in overdrive and celebrate the true ot3 of RWBY that CRWBY would give us WERE THEY NOT COWARDS!
Why should you participate? Other than to show off, and celebrate the glorious ot3? What other reason could you need? There certainly isn’t…another reason, or is there?
If you do not adhere to the spirit of the week I reserve the right to not include your works in <redacted>.
Can I participate if I draw? Knit? Etc, and don’t write?
Absolutely! All forms of art are open except rhythmic gymnastics because it knows good, and well what it did.
You can also post/reblog or all that if you like the idea, but aren’t keen on participating.
In order for the event to go more smoothly we’ll be doing one set of prompts, and you can fit it into whatever world, or au you want. Ie you can do a Remnant au, or a modern au. All up to you.

Plans change as they often do, but this time are they changing for the better? Weiss is determined it will be no matter what she has to endure.

When? Sign ups are November 1st to November 16th
You can post them anytime from December 1st onward through December 31st.
Length: Min 2-2.5k but you can go longer if you want. The minimum is there just so everyone gets at least a 1 shot worth of fic in return since if they wrote like a novel and got a 400 word drabble back it wouldn’t feel great.
What do I need to do? Tell me you want to sign up, and give me your ao3 name as well as any pairings, tropes, etc you don’t want to write. Ie I do not want to write about Arkos,Neon or Miltia, or Coffeeshop aus.
Also give me your general prompt (first christmas WR/BB etc) I will then match you up with other compatible people. I won’t limit you in other ways, but try to adhere to good taste. I’ll only add more rules if I have to do so. I trust we’re all adult or adult adjacent here.
You will know who you are writing for, but not who yours is until they post it.
When posting tag on tumblr, or ao3’ Power Taco Secret Santa 2024’ so we can see ‘em all in the same tag. If I learn how I’ll request and add em to a collection for future posterity.

So in terms of DWR discord not really. It's mostly just me talking about it, and my friends being nice enough to put up with it although I do try to post all the art and fics of them I find, and am planning on a DWR Week in Feb so that could be fun.
I do talk about them on the WR discord in the alt ships channels which is found...
I also talk, and post on the Cinder Simps discord from time to time where I also bother them about it in shipping. That one I believe is run by @scham-wcan a righteous dude
It would depend on what you want to get out of a community truly. If you want to talk mostly about WR, Bees, Arkos, or what have you.
There might be other communities, (I hear Frozensteel has a discord but that's all I know about it so you'd prob want to reach out to @frosensteel on that one) but I'm honestly pretty new to it so I just kinda try to vibe, post, and gush about my goobers, and other people's art, and fics!

Blake and Ruby's conversation in the 100th episode just never fails to make me emotional. Both of them have gone through so much.
(V10, please give us a sequel to this scene)
Give us Blake and Ruby having a small bookclub darn it! I want big sis blake to read to Ruby, or what not.
I want the entire team to take turns reading with each other in the dorm room. Weiss pretending she doesn't care but always just so happens to be nearby 'revising' when the readings go on.
Yang gets really into the stories making voices for each character, Ruby is the most dynamic using tons of over the top gestures and subconsciously aping yang doing voices (she's not quite so good though but they appreciate it except for one character she just happens to nail for some reason).
Weiss initially wants to go textbooks, but relents and starts with fairy tales or lore from Atlas, and before long she's way more into it than she imagines she would be as Ruby is cuddled into her, and she has to snap at the other two to shut up so they don't wake her.
Blake has the most soothing voice to listen to, and to the others delight her stories are mostly just adventure and stories of right and wrong, and not tasteless smut…except that one time they pranked her by putting a new book jacket on her Ninjas of Love series and she started reading it without realizing it for a few minutes.
Also if Maria could be young, and holding WR hands that could also be in V10 too. I mean if we can deage Jaune than Maria def deserves it too!
