a little rambling for squilfs hope's 5th anniversary
i cannot say that i like squirrelflights hope. i am still annoyed at the authors choice on how they treated squirrelstar, but it does hold a special place in my heart. I was already starting to be keen on squilf as i was reading PoT and i seemed to like her personality and story alot. in 2022 i purchased squilf's hope thinking that i would read it since i already like her. i was already familiar with squilfs story but after this book my viewpoint of her completely changed. and that moment was the beggining of my ongoing 2 year long squirrelstar obsession. i never thought that i would relate to her expriences at this degree. during 2022, i was in a unhealthy relationship which affected my mental health greatly. during 2023 i was able to leave this person who was affecting my life negatively, behind. 2023 was a hard year, but squirrelflight was my way to express and project the feelings i was experiencing to a character who had gone through a similar experience. i can ramble about this silly ginger cat all day but i dont wanna make this post long. so ty erins for writing this book
