German punk without lyrics makes me feel I hear things like "Alles geht kaputt". Great song regardless.
Yage - Difference In Between
Does anyone want to smoke out of an apple and listen to corny German emo?
I don't know if I would call Yage corny but I have to admit I like it better when they sing in German. Rad band anyway, recommended if you like european emo/screamo & Yaphet Kotto maybe. You can buy their discography as 2xLP there.
Yage started spring '98 in Cologne, Germany, and if you ask us, they achieved pretty much in this period of time. The debut 7" came out in february'99 and they started to play shows, getting more and more attention and developing their own style. Do you remember a couple of years ago, where "emo" was an emotional, powerful outburst of energy and not that college-rock type of thing? Bands like Shotmaker, 400 Years, Age, Assay, Indian Summer and more, bands who moved people and had a strong message besides the music. Well you can set Yage somewhere between those bands with an exception that they do not sound "retro", mixing the classical influences with a good portion of modern sounded hardcore. Yage ended as a band in august 2004

Glasses - Untitled [Scentless Apprentice cover]
Glasses, a German rocking hardcore "all-star" band with members of Trainwreck, Perth express, 244 GL, The F.A.... featuring a female singer covers Nirvana's Scentless Apprentice.
Glasses present us with a monster of an lp of dark and brutal rocking hardcore punk, razorsharp breaks, hyperprecise drumming and an angry female singer. 7 tracks of devastating hardcore/punk. Great follow-up to their self titled 12" released in 2009 and their split 2x 7" with Comadre released earlier this year. The ills of Life is slated for release later this month. Highly recommended!!! from Elementary Revolt post
Zann is a another excellent german chaotic hardcore band who's been active for more than 10 years now. Their last release is X, a 7" record with three songs & a discography CD.
