In Egypt, we are stuck between a bitter alienation and a painful reality. 😔🚧 We do not have residency, which makes every step difficult and every day full of challenges. Prices in Egypt resources are unforgiving, and the ones we brought with us are quickly melting away. 💸 While we try to endure and survive, our hearts remain attached to Gaza; The homeland that never leaves our minds or leaves us for a moment. 🇵🇸💔 Our loved ones there live under siege, and we live under the burden of alienation and worry for them. Every day in Egypt feels like an endless wait, and every contact with Gaza opens a door to pain. 📞💔 Returning to Gaza did not alleviate the anxiety, but rather confirmed to me that the suffering continues, whether we are inside or outside.

Six months ago, I used to go to the kindergarten and play and have a lot of fun.. and learn letters and numbers.. and play the kindergarten games. My life was very sweet.. and I had a very nice room in our house with my bed and toys.

On 12/1/2023, they bombed our house and we came out injured. My father broke his leg and my mother also broke her leg. I was shot in the back. My brother Taim was shot in the face and hands. We emerged from under the rubble, thank God.

But our house was destroyed and our whole life was destroyed. My toys were broken, my room and my bed were destroyed. And the kindergarten that I used to go to was destroyed and turned into ashes.

We left our house and went to live in the tent that my father had brought us. The tent was very disgusting. It had ants, cockroaches, and insects. We started getting sick and coughing every day. The sound of the missiles from above the tent was very terrifying and scared me and my brother Taim a lot.

My mother cries every day because she does not know how to make us food, because there is no food at all, and because there are no sanitary supplies for my brother Taim when he defecates.. and she is very afraid of the sound of the Jewish missiles and says that we will all die in the tent.

I want to ask you.. I want you to help me, my father, my mother, and my brother Taim.. We want to leave the Gaza Strip so that we can continue our lives.. so that I can return to the kindergarten that I left.. and so that my future and the future of my brother Taim are not lost. I'm 20 years old and currently live in Gaza. I was in my 3rd year of medical college in AlAzhar University in Gaza before the war on Gaza started on Oct 2023 . Me and my family of seven lost everything we own, our house , cars and money . Our dreams were all shattered and destroyed. The situation here is unbearable beinde imagination, no clean water , barely any food available, death and destruction everywhere.

Through these tough times I still find the time to volunteer and help kids in UNRWA refuge camps and shelters in Rafah City who need medical assistance.
