They overturned the US federal gov'ts ability to regulate things.

Say, for example, Congress writes a law and its say, we have to regulate clean water. But it doesn't say how. The EPA would come in and say how. Chevron said courts had to defer to the agency's expertise.

Now, it says, Congress needs to explicate it and therefore agencies have no power.

And we';ve had do nothing Congresses since the middle of Obama's term. 2010 at least, when the TEA party came into power. Oh sure they pass some laws, but things like this will LINGER.

So now, the EPA, just one example, has lost the ability to say, hey you can't put this pollutant in water.

DEA wants to reclassify marijuana. How you think its gonna go now?

A lot of federal agencies issue regulations protecting LGBTQ+ community and disabled people. Gone.

And, combine that with the ruling yesterday that gov't officials can take bribes if they are considered gratuities, can you imagine how this will go?
