To make Ymir's tragedy even more horrible- Put in the factor of time being meaningless in the Paths: we see Titans form in a matter of seconds and even less, in the real world.
But Ymir had to build EACH AND EVERY TITAN BODY EVER from just sand and water. Each one took probably months, even years and decades to complete. So to her, it was an incomprehensible time of just building and fixing Titans, for infinity.
It's really horrible that someone had to be so tortured for so long and all their descendants got crapped on as well when she didn't do anything wrong! UGH! She didn't deserve all that!
So, she's been waiting for 2000 years in regular time, right? The way time works for her, as we saw when Zeke and Eren were with her, it is, or at least felt like, SO much longer!
It's too much to even think about!
And I have not read the manga so this is just me saying without giving anything away, I hope she can finally be at peace, somehow.

Ymir Fritz story was horrifying. I was excited to watch the episode, and 10 minutes later I did not want to be watching anymore.
She was abused, enslaved, hunted, forced to bare children, use her titan as Fritz saw fit, and still die for the man.
For 2000 years her nightmare continued, until Eren gave her a choice.
Granted, he was doing it to get what he wanted, but she made the choice on her own.
Just think, Gabi was less than a year younger then Ymir when we get to know them both.
