Happy Halloween IV

Content: Back at it with over 2100 words of dad Levi worrying about his daughters first party.

"It's almost time to go, are you ready?" You call out from the living room to your eleven year old daughter.

It's Halloween and you did trick or treating a little early this year. Bags of candy, mostly separated and ready to be eaten. There's a small pile staying in your house for you all to snack on and another bowl for late trick or treaters. The rest is being brought as offering for her first Halloween party.

"Yes mama, I'm coming!" You hear her racing about.

"She's already in costume, what could be taking so long?" Levi, your husband, comes to stand beside you.

He won't admit but maybe he's a little anxious about this event. It's being hosted by a family friend and their son, one of your daughters best friends. Of course she will be safe. But this is the first time you aren't going to be there to help out.

"Don't rush her, sweetheart, she's nervous too." You hold Levi's hand, giving him a loving smile. He leans into you and calms down instantly.

There's a knock on the door and you call out to her again, letting her know her ride is here.

"Ready!" She comes running out, bags in hand, costume still looking great. She's picked a superhero this year.

"Hey guys." Levi let's Miche and his son in. They are driving her to the party and later you and Levi will pick them up and drop him off on your way home.

"You look great!" You tell her again, then turn to Miche and his son, who is also in a superhero costume. It appears the group of friends had this planned.

The men go over plans for dropping off and picking up while the kids talk. A large black cat comes out from the kitchen to greet everyone. Just a couple years ago he was such a tiny little thing. He's still active so you don't know how he got so big. Probably all the treats your daughter sneaks him.

She hands the bags to the boy and picks the cat up, who purrs as he gets pets from everyone.

Thinking of Levi trying to teach his child animals and every time he says 'dog' they say 'ruff!' and every time he says 'cat' they say 'meow!' and if he says 'cow' it's 'moomoo!'

It's the cutest thing watching him try to teach them the name of the animal but falling to pieces with adoration for his baby.

Happy Christmas/Merry Birthday III

Content: 2.3k words. A second sequel (part I, part II) of dad Levi's birthday and Christmas in one.

A/n: Why do I rush each of these out?! I hope you love it and the idea for Levi's present!

It's warm and cozy in the house. Outside there are piles of newly fallen snow overnight.

You yawn as you wake up and stretch, opening your eyes with a smile. It's the best sleep you've gotten in nights.

"Morning." You hear the mumble of your husband who has been awake waiting for you. He reaches over to hold you in his arm.

"Morning Levi. Merry Birthday." You snuggle into his chest for a few minutes.

In your mind you know you should be up and out of bed already. It's daylight and your little ones must be ready for you.

"Eveything is fine." Levi tells you, knowing your thoughts.

Your ten year old daughter is up, it is Christmas morning after all. She's watching her six month old baby brother in his swingset while having some oatmeal, after helping her father feed the baby.

"Did you sleep okay?" You ask, kissing Levi's cheek and stroking his arm, taking his word for it that all is well.

"I did, love." He leans in to kiss your forehead. He came back to bed just a few minutes before.

Happy Halloween III

Content: 1.6k words of the evening after trick or treating with your and Levi's daughter.

"Happy Halloween! Have a good night!" You call out and wave to your friends from your front porch.

"Mama! Come in!" Your little girl calls from in the living room.

It's Halloween night and you and your husband Levi have recently returned home from a night out of trick or treating with your daughter and some family friends who are on their way home.

"Coming darling." You say and come back in, shutting the door and locking it.

"Boo!" You fake scream as she jumps at you as you turn, your husband standing close by with a smile.

"Oh! My wicked little witch!" You chuckle and poke her shoulder, referring to the costume she's picked this year.

"Our pretty little witch." Levi corrects you, taking her hat and broom.

She giggles and goes dancing around the room, calling out to the newest member of the family, a black cat that made it's way into your yard one day some months back and has been an indoor kitty ever since, after very little effort from you daughter in convincing you and Levi.

"There you are!" She picks him up and he mews at her happily.

"Just a few minutes then let's get you cleaned up." Levi says, taking the bag of candy that's been collected into the kitchen for inspection.

She's so attached to the cat, and he to her, that you know it was the right decision to let him stay.

"Anything good in there?" You come in too, looking through the bag.

Your little one comes in too and plops the cat onto the chair and looks at all the goodies with you.

Late December

Content: 1.6k words of part of a day with your six month old baby and husband Levi.

A/n: Here we go! Not quite holiday, not quite proof read hehe.

Your eyes flutter open as you smile after a nice, long sleep. It's early morning on another weekday later in the year, just after the holidays.

You turn to cuddle your husband but find his side of the bed empty. You frown, but not for long, already knowing where he is.

You get up and put on your robe and head to the nursery, pausing at the door and smiling.

Your husband Levi is sitting in the rocking chair, holding your six month old baby boy on his chest, reading him a story while he naps.

Levi stops mid sentence and smiles warmly when he notices you.

"Morning daddy." You smile back and step inside, coming over to stand by the rocker.

He sighs and rests his head on your side as you play with his hair and reach down to pet your babies cheek.

The little one blinks his eyes sleepily and gets excited when he sees you.

Levi chuckles and hands him over.

"Hi baby! Are you hungry?" You coo at him, kissing his face while he makes happy noises.

"Oh no, your not gonna try the solids again are you?" Levi asks nervously.

Happy Christmas/Merry Birthday II

"Morning daddy!" Your little girl hops up on the bed bright and early, as you and Levi have been cuddling in bed.

Levi grabs hold of her making her squeal with joy as you smile at their interaction.

Even at age nine she loves her father so much. It makes you happy to see them together, when at one point Levi was terrified of having children.

Not exactly with you, but at all. Thinking his injuries of lost sight in one eye and a damaged leg would somehow hinder him being a father.

But it hasn't, and he loves his little girl with all his heart.

"Morning mommy!" She giggles and hugs you after Levi let's her go.

"Morning my darling." You kiss her cheek as she lay in between you. "What shall we do today?"

"Since it's daddys birthday tomorrow, let's let him decide!" She says with a bright smile.

Levi smiles and snuggles into the sheets with you both. "Let's just stay here all day." He says, making you all chuckle merrily.

"I could make your breakfast!" She insists. You've been teaching her a couple things and she likes baking for you both.

"Okay, how about some muffins?" Levi asks.

In a flash your little one kisses both your cheeks and it up and out the bedroom door, racing to the kitchen to start.

You smile warmly at your husband and cuddle him a few more minutes, confident in your daughter to get things started on her own.

"I don't want anything tomorrow." Levi says, holding you tight.

"You say that every year, but it's your birthday, and Christmas, and our girl loves getting you things. And, I already have something for you." You say, smiling a bit.

Happy Halloween II

Content: 1.9k words of the return of dad Levi as the Ackerman family go to a Halloween party with friends.

"But, where's my little princess?" Levi frowns.

"Daddy! I'm a cat!" Levis now seven year old daughter, dressed all in black with fake whiskers, jumps at him with false claws.

He feigns fear for her sake, making her laugh.

"Well, alright I guess." It's what she wants. But up until last year she was always a princess and it hurts his heart a little.

"Are you ready?!" She asks wildly, as if she's already had too much candy.

"Just waiting on your mother." He says, stepping out of her way, heading towards your bedroom.

"Love?" He calls out and you hum his name.

He half smiles at seeing you standing in front of the mirror, dressed as a witch, fixing your hat.

You catch his eye in the mirror and whirl around.

"Spooky. Gonna put a spell on me, Mrs Ackerman?" He jokes and moves towards you, arm going around your waist to hold you.

"Would it get you to put these on?" You pull out devil horns and grin at him, hoping.

You and some other friends are taking your kids to an indoor Halloween party at their school. Parents are encouraged to dress up as well, but so far Levi isn't having it.

Levi sighs and shakes his head. "Come on! Please?" You continue before he can say anything.

"We'll take such cute family photos. Just put these on, wear a red shirt, anything!" You won't push your luck with a pitchfork and tail.

"We already are a cute family." He reminds you, taking the horns and pulling out the red shirt from his drawer that you just so happened to come across last week and thought you should get him.

Yes, you have him under a spell, you and your daughter, and he never wants to wake up.

"Yay!" Your daughter claps as she sees daddy is in fact participating, ever so slightly.

Ohhh Levi hehe I'm going to tweak it a little bit!

I imagine he started practicing before they were born and...well, he tried, at least.

"Daddy said a bad word!" His child yells out when at age 3 their daddy still throws around a few select phrases.

Levi rolls his eyes and wanders right over to the piggy bank aka swear jar and drops a coin in.

"Levi, you're going to put this kid through college!" You laugh.

Finally when you hear your child use the word, Levi cringes and knows something has to be done.

"No, we don't say that." Levi tells them.

"You do!" They retort back.

"Not anymore."

Levi really has toned it down and has resorted to food cursing as an alternative.

"Sugar!" "Fudge!" "Fish sticks!"

There's more but those are the most used ones.

He had to stop with one in particular when his kid yelled out "snickerdoodle!" after dropping their snack on the floor and their playmates who were over didn't understand.

It is now only used as the cookie flavor as intended.

But still, once in a while an actual curse word comes out and more often than not when the situation might call for a curse and Levi doesn't say one? His child hugs him and tries to give him a coin back from the piggy bank.

"No, no, that's yours." Levi pats them on the head.

Years later he still uses the food words in place of most cursing, and doesn't know whether to laugh or not when he hears his grandchild yell out "sugar!" after stubbing their toe.

What he doesn't know, is they didn't pick it up from him, and that they hear it in their own house from one of their parent.

Country living Levi and reader, having twins!

Your friends get you a lot for your baby shower, but there are things Levi wants to do himself! Like, build their cribs! Do you think he makes two separate or combines them so one side of the wood is used for both cribs?

Oh noooo!!! hehe.

I imagine Levi will think about it a moment, and if possible bandage or put a band-aid on the area? THEN kiss it better :)

"How's that, kiddo?" He'll ask.

"Hmm, okay, thank you daddy." They decide and scurry off.

Levi sighs, thankful he was able to compromise and still please them.

Dad Levi will make sure they're okay, of course, but maybe won't cater to their whines so it doesn't get worse. Know what I mean?

"What, that little thing? Come on, you can handle that, right?"

And through their tears they nod and give a tiny "yeah."

He's not minimizing it, because they did get hurt, but it's not too bad looking and if he makes a big deal, they will make a big deal.

If it is major however, he is freaking out, internally, for the most part. But Levi and his child are generally pretty careful and don't get injured easy :)

Just thinking of Levis toddler son being afraid of the hand dryers in the bathroom.

All the cadets have to wait to dry their hands if he's in there or even close by so as not to scare him.

Or else they have to answer to his dad.

What they don't know if Levi is teaching him to not be afraid, but they won't take their chances anyhow.

Cat 1.4+ words || Fathers Day 2022 Masterlist

On a Friday morning Levi awakens early like usual, makes the bed, takes a quick shower, and starts his tea.

He works remotely a couple days a week but keeps to his usual routine.

He starts to take everything out to make an omelet and feels a bump around his ankle.

"You wanna eat too?" He says to the white tabby with a black goatee and one small black spot on his left ear.

"Meow." Scouts golden eyes are wide.

"Okay, okay, give me a minute."

In between pouring his tea and starting breakfast, he opens a can and puts it down for Scout, who purrs loudly.

Setting his tray at his desk, Levi turns on his computer and eats while seeing what needs to be done.

"Of course." He rolls his eyes, seeing there's a video meeting in half an hour.

"What are you all doing in my kitchen?" Levi raises as eyebrow.

He's just come home early from work, expecting to find you, and instead finding Armin, Jean, Eren, Connie, Sasha and Mikasa covered in flour with stacks of used mixing bowls and spatulas everywhere.

"Captain!" They all talk over each other.

Levi looks to Armin for an explanation.

"Well, the lady of the house invited us over to teach us some baking skills, remembered she had to go pick something up, and left us to it. She'll only be gone a few minutes she said."

"And you'd made this much of a mess? Well, at least the place isn't burning down."

Levi sighs. Yep, sounds right. You are always inviting the cadets over for one reason or another, and they always to want to come. Whatever teens their age should want to be doing, your house is always more interesting it seems.

After putting his things down he inspects the kitchen.

"What are you making?" He asks Jean who's rolling dough.

"These? Classic chocolate chip cookies!"

"Yeah, she had to run out to get the chips." Connie comes over with cupcake tray, leaving Levi wondering how that goes with cookies.

"Oh, this is for the orange vanilla cupcakes." He nods over to Eren and Sasha, who are almost done adding ingredients and ready to mix.

"And what do you two have going on?" Levi asks Mikasa and Armin.

"Peanut butter brownies!" Mikasa can't wait for those to go in the oven. They're about to pour the mix onto the baking pan.
