Poor Godwyn... I wonder what he'd say in the Duskborn ending once Fia resurrects him, about Ranni being the one to bring about his death. She survives by her own machinations while he unwillingly pays the price.

Just how angry or sad would he be?

Would he confront her after the Tarnished Elden Lord tells him of Ranni's quest and/or location?

Seriously though, how well did the half-siblings know each other? Did they visit each other or have little to nothing to do with one another? Did he and Ranni have any relationship outside of being royalty (born of Marika & Radagon who is male Marika)?

Were Godwyn and Ranni good friends, enemies, rivals?

Did Ranni have an ulterior motive for picking Godwyn out of all the demigods?

Did the Black Knife Assassins tell him anything the night he was murdered? That Ranni was responsible?

Or did Godwyn get assassinated without ever knowing why or who ordered it?

I seriously wonder if the Duskborn ending could've been the start of his fallen hero-villain arc. After getting brutally murdered and stuck in a purgatory like death state, Godwyn could've gone insane or plotted his revenge. He'd have every reason to do so.
