I think it’s time we admit that Tilly’s season 3 ponytail is silly because the purpose of a ponytail is to tie your hair back in a way that keeps it out of your face. Her ponytail makes her hair more in her face than of her hair was loose

but @maxworm popped off in the chat today about Tilly’s hair and i think everyone should see it: “ok so tillys hair is clearly an expression of their character thru the show -- in s1 it was in a tight bun because she was stuck on following regulations, not really come into her own, then it gradually comes down as we see her assert herself. her hair being loose and curly in s3 can also be seen as a response to her mirror counterpart with straight hair (who we see this season), her prime character asserting her compassion and freeness and how does this relate to her ponytail being kinda useless? well she still has her hair up -- shes playing the game of starfleet regulation, opposing michael doing dumb shit sometimes BUT her hair is still getting in her face because her compassion and more genuine spirit overrides this strict regulations, in how she is shown to support michaels dumb shit (affectionate) sometimes, and in the last two eps her leading the bridge crew in their retaliation,,, she is first officer now, she does things her own way, and this is shown in how her hair -- something that symbolizes her identity in the crew and her ability to assert herself -- is still in the forefront.”

Hey anon! Here are a few links to some posts that explain the memory alpha wiki clownery (refusing to list Adira’s pronouns and in doing so removing gender for everyone entirely) pretty well. I would explain it but I feel it’s best to read those if you have time! ALSO thanK you I hope you have a good day too :)c
From what I can tell, Memory Alpha had a bot remove all mentions of gender from EVERYONE's pages (even ACTORS). Someone else went in later and added Adira's gender back. It looks like people are starting to add other people's genders back (Paul has male, but Osyraa and Tilly don't have any gender). As much as I would love for someone to take away my gender, this isn't really the best solution.
Yeah, the memory alpha admins woke up and chose absolute clownery yesterday. They did all this, and for what?? rjfhbrhj As upset as I was about the whole ordeal and how they went about handling it, (especially the mention of Adira’s genitals, no I am not going to stop talking about that, that was gross as fuck) I still find it so fucking funny that Anthony and Wilson went after them

I personally want Trill Adira, but I've heard some other people hoping that Adira gets more prosthetic makeup, so maybe a Kelpian or a Klingon. But I think a Trill to match with their boyfriend would be cute <3
Since Trill Michael left with Book I’m rooting for a Trill Adira to take their place in the program. Of course more prosthetic makeup on them would be SO SICK i’m down for anything honestly. I’m especially curious how this will affect Gray if at all though.
