偽物の刺青をしたショーケンが風呂に入ってる所へ真山知子が入ってくる場面。ショーケンは慌てて股間を木の桶で隠す。風呂桶といえば木の桶だった事を考証。

A scene where Miyaya Komiya comes into a place where a fake tattooed Shoken is taking a bath. The Shoken will hide her crotch in a wooden bowl. She is an asserter that she was a bath of a wood.

This painting, inspired by Charles Montesquieu’s Persian Letters (published in 1721), depicts a eunuch who wanted to marry a harem slave. He experienced a vision of her while smoking his opium pipe, but her little companion holding a knife dripping with blood reminds us that the eunuch’s anatomy precludes the fulfillment of his dream.
