Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi & English - by (pooja-mahi-rai)
So I was watching this today after a long day of work, and found it really cute the way many of the movies in the 50's had little English tidbits in them. The actor may be saying a huge dialogue in Hindi, but then, BAM! Out of nowhere, a burst of English pops through. Its just too friggin' CUTE!

Love this song. And Dev Anand is just too frickin handsome! No wonder they used to make him avoid wearing black - makes you go weak at the knees! ;-)
I learnt how to colourise black and white images, so thought I would start by colouring these. Pictures of my favourite actress who has rarely been pictured in colour.
Full of emotion, pain, and empathy, this woman was and still is amazing - and no one has come near her beauty and unique skill so far.
(and Bollywood has only been around for about 100 years :P)
