Passport (1961) - ♪ Saaz-E-Dil Chedd De
Gorgeous melody. Lyrics, music and acting is so pure in this song. Simple, yet effective. One of my all time faves :-)
Do Ustaad (1959)
Some sweet scenes, some funny scenes. Daisy Irani is bloody adorable and one heck of a child star, might I add. First few GIFs are with her and Madhubala. I'd give this film a 6/10. The 6 because there were some laugh out loud moments (especially in the scenes where Raj Kapoor is in disguise as a Begum and Madhubala dresses up in disguise as a Pashtun Khan-saab - ironically the type/caste of Muslim she is, haha) But, on the whole, the plot, story and quality of the movie wasn't on the same standards as 'Amar' or 'Kala Pani'. Good for a laugh, and fun to watch for Raj Kapoor and Madhubala fans, their on screen chemistry is cute :-)

Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi (1958) Paanch Rupaiyaa Baara Anaa ♪
One of my favourite songs of all time. I can't help but act out this song whilst I sing/listen to it. It's one of those tunes that will never get old. I can never get sick of watching it either. Kishore Kumar and Madhubala's comedy timing is hilarious as well as down right genius!
Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi (1958)
Some funny scenes that made me smile :-)
Amar (1954) Madhu and her mischief lol.
Mughal-e-Azam (1960) in Black and white - as it should be.
the colour version is lovely, but it took away the essence of the movie and the dramatic effect the monochrome has.
Thought I would stray from Bollywood for a few posts...
Man I love this movie ^_^
Mughal-E-Azam (1960)
"Mere ankhon se mere khwab na cheene shehzaade...mein mar jaungi..."
One of the most romantic and intense scenes in the history of Indian cinema!
Decided to use the black and white version as it is the most beautiful. The colour version is good in its own way..but nothing can beat the classic elegance of the monochrome copy of this film.
Another Madhubala post - Her technique of acting was sensational - her skill was overlooked because of her beauty, but watch her closely, and see how timeless her acting, and her look was.
Most are from Kala Paani, two from Mahal, three from Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi :-)
