Sangam (1964) - Mujhe Bhuddha Mil Gaya ♪ Raj Kapoor, Rajendra Kumar, Vyjayanthimala

One of the RK classics. The theme of the movie was brilliant, although I think it could have done without the dramatic end...*SPOILER ALERT* I mean they could have solved the issue without the use of a revolver right? Imagine if Kajol shot herself in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai just so she wouldn't get in between Rahul and Tina. She didn't. She got on a train instead.

Ah Gopal, you nutter. Lol

So here's presenting the hilarious side of Vyjayanthimala. This song was such a surprise when I first saw it. I was so used to watching Vyjayanthimala in Madhumati and Naya Daur that it never occurred to me she could pull something like this off. But she did. Amazingly!

Aan (1952) - One of my favourites. Watched this so many times whilst growing up. Listening to Nimmi's innocent yet maddening laughter, watching Nadira's stubbornness and pride, and wanting nothing more than to find a man who had Dilip Kumar's weak-at-the-knees smoulder smile. *Sigh*

That's one thing I loved about my childhood. Some sort of Bollywood classic from the 50's/60's used to be playing in the background. Either that or Movie Mahal, or a cassette with all of my parents favourite songs when they were growing up. Bollywood had another name back then, and has another name now.

What's scary is that I'm only 21 years old (but with the soul of an 80yr old. Paha)
