Questlove is the voice of Curley the drummer in Dorothea Williams' jazz band in Soul (2020). He was born Ahmir Khalib Thompson in Philadelphia, and has 23 acting credits, from a 1994 video for The Roots, to Soul. His other notable acting credits include Bamboozled, a voice on The Cleveland Show, episodes of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Parks and Recreation, and The Jim Gaffigan Show,
Questlove is also known as the drummer for The Roots. They released 14 studio albums from 1993 to 2014. Six of their albums peaked in the top 10, with Things Fall Apart and The Tipping Point both peaking at number four. He was also the drummer and leader of The Tonight Show Band on 343 episodes of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon 2014-19.
