Canon or not there is no doubt that Ichigo and Rukia love each other. No matter how me, you or others see that love, it doesn’t change the fact that they love each other. They adore each other, just look how Ichigo looks at her or how Rukia looks at him
they’d do anything to make the other happy, they actually make each other happy. Their relationship is always refered as “bond” bc everyone even the author has problems to label their relationship, They are not even just friends, they are more than that. If someone thinks that they don’t love each other just bc they didn’t get canon then yeah, maybe they are right, “love” is not enough for them since they even surpassed it.
