Sometimes when I'm on the bus or something, I can't stop thinking about how much they loved each other and how Nerdanel must have suffered from everything that happened afterwards. I mean, how painful it was for her to learn about all the things that happened to her children, how they became victims of the war and the madness of their father. Could she, with all her love for her husband, forgive him all this?
